My wife, a Costa Rican Citizen and University Professor and Administrator 6 years from Retirement at age 55 was Denied a US Tourist Visa 3 times. Only reason she wanted one was for onward travel to Canada and Europe. Nothing else about the US has any appeal at all.
@brianblessing84943 ай бұрын
Yes the crazy thing is its easier to simply swim across the Rio Grande and enter illegally than to actually get a visa. I was denied 4 times while not having a bad history, as my original visa was cancelled without prejudice and I was denied entry into the US because i was viewed as an intending immigrant with the incorrect visa. With a 5 year bar slapped on to go with it. While having strong ties to my home country I mean seriously do they think everyone wants to immigrate to the US? There are far better places to live, and the US would not be at the top of my list, yet still I'm denied a visa for a visit. Great I'll spend all my tourist dollars elsewhere.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE QUESTIONS YOU WERE ASK DURING YOUR INTERVIEW
@marlonremolar-lipa59406 ай бұрын
It’s all about HONESTY, I have a pending petition but granted a multiple 10 year entry last 2014 and renewed it just this Feb 2024 via the interview waiver and was issued another 10 year multiple entry. Just be honest, travel to the US at least 5 times in 10 years, don’t engage in any work related activities and you’re good to go

I witnessed something at the us embassy that truly broke my heart when I went to apply for an us visa. I was right behind an elderly couple in the queue and I could hear every answer they provided. They wanted to visit their daughter who lived in the us. They told the interviewer how long they intended to stay for, how much money they had, where they would stay, documents proving the daughter was there legally, and several other questions to only hear in the end their visa had been declined as the interviewer was not convinced they would return home. I was a bit frightened when it was my turn but eventually I was granted the visa. It turns out my 10 year visa expired without me never visiting the us as I decided to visit some other places instead. If given the chance I would have gladly swapped places with that old couple.

My wife a University Administrator and Professor was denied a US Tourist Visa 3 times. She is just 6 years from retirement. Plus the only reason for the Visa was onward travel to Canada and Europe with the US stay 5 hours or less. Wise ass official the third time greeted her, "Happy Birthday your US Tourist Visa is Denied."

That’s sad. Meanwhile, a thousands of people get in through the US- Mexican border each day. They pay for a coyote and get in.
@riskyron14163 ай бұрын
@@Linda19816 They are fleeing from the gangs and cartels the US created in Guatemala Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Colombia. Armed with military firearms from the US. US deports these people to Mexico in spite of them NOT being Mexicans. Expecting Mexico with one third of the US Economy to finance it all. International Law dictates any person from any country can present at the border of any country and request asylum. The UIS thinks it is above International Law. No it is Not!. In fact right in the US Constitution it states the top laws are the Laws of Nations, Not the Supreme Court. Yes, Coyotes charge $$25,000 on entry to the US. These people bring drugs, prostitution and are sold into Slavery in the US to pay. Thousands of Immigrant Children are slave labor in meat packing and fast food industry as well as farms in the US, mostly owned by Americans. Until1960 the Bracero Program worked very well. People from Mexico, Caribbean and Central America came to work 6 months and returned home. Don't forget that President HW Bush, George W Bush, Obama, Clinton and Trump all had Illegal Immigrants employed by them. Easy to blame others bur it is the US responsible for it all. Reagan even allied with President Noriega of Panama to import drugs to finance his Central American Wars when Congress refused to finance it. Venezuela was the wealthiest country in South America until the US stopped them from selling oil. In fact Chavez used to give free heating oil to homes on the US East Coast. Political sanctions made them poor. And now the only ones they hate even more than Venezuelan leaders is American leaders. It is countries and media neither aligned or opposed to the US that is a real source of news. Neutrality gives truth. Proportional to population the UK takes in more than twice the number of Immigrants the US does. Only they handle it legally as per International Law.

It really boils down to who makes the interview. When I went to the interview there was this official that was denying visas to EVERYONE. At the waiting room we were all nervous because everyone was praying this guy wouldn't be assigned to any of us. When it was my turn, it was such a relief it was with another official. The interview was pleasant, and I got granted the visa, but when I left and said goodbye to a friend I made in the waiting area, he said the guy was still denying visas left and right. I wished him good luck.

Thankfully, as a Canadian, I will never have to go through a US visa interview. We can enter the US visa-free for up to180 days (many Canadian retirees do this and spend the winter months in Arizona, Texas or Florida). When we line up at the airport, we can line up with the Americans (that.line usually moves much faster) because we don't have to get our irises or fingerprints scanned, like all other foreigners do (though they do have full access to Cdn databases for crimes, health, etc so they know if you have committed a crime and can deny entry to you based on this). And yes, we can even study visa-free in the USA (however we do still need to register under the I-20 Student Registration program). When I got my pilot's license in the USA, no student visa was required. And the best part of getting the pilots lic in the USA is every single license, rating and endorsement is completely transferable to Canada, unlike EU, UK, Australia or any other country that has their own licensing requirements. (Only the PPL is transferable in most countries but not instrument rating, multi-engine, floatplane, etc.)

It is a clearing and forwarding business, and after a two-minute interview, they hand you the pink paper without explaining why they've denied the visa. Seriously, why deny someone a transit visa or crew? While everything is clear, can they contact the US company to verify? Is that not corruption? They should refund the visa cost. It is imperative that there be a demonstration against the US embassy for exploiting innocent applicants.

Unfortunately the person interviewed me was so serious, no smile whatsoever, didn't ask many questions or talk so much, even didn't ask for so many documents I had with me, in few minutes he just decided to hold my visa on administrative process :-( So sad because me and my husband are getting older every year and already it is 4 years we are living seperated after 3 years being together in another country. They took away the chance of even thinking to have a kid, or for me it is getting harder and harder to get an education inside of the US, if it ever happens anyway. It's just not fair or human. What I could possibly have done as an artist, that prevents them to just issue a visa for me to live with my husband.

The story is that I went to a visa agent and asked him to process my application, and he told me that I do not deal with US visit visas, and he told to me to do that go to US immigration website and fill an application. I created an account and paid $10 fee, but that application is very complicated I could not understand it and left it incomplete. Then I came to know about the process of visit visa, and I applied for it. Now, I don't know how I am going to convince the visa officer that I was misguided by the visa agent and that my immigration application is incomplete and useless.

I don't understand! I spent a lot of money even on the translation of documents and I believe that 90% of these documents are not opened by my officer at all. If so suspicious of documentation then why issue visa or do any paperwork or documentation at all. When it suits a visa officer then favor documentation and when it doesn’t then call it suspicious of fraud. The entire process of issuing visa and travel and education is documentation and paperwork.
@ZFvisa5 ай бұрын
Some documents are required, and others may be useful in providing important context. However, the main point of an in-person interview is so that a Visa Officer can interact with the applicant, see how they answer questions, and determine if they appear credible. This isn't possible with documents alone.

I have a very important question. I was not arested in USA on any criminal link, but was arrested and relieased and the case was dismissed on a case that was civic. It was related to immigration. I was given a case, court date to prove that I changed school properly, my school provided that and the case was dismissed. Even everytime i traveled to USA before, I had to wait extra 30 minutes or so at a special room, just for them to check this thing. Now, should I say I was arrested? although it was not criminal? It was related to removal proceedings that was dismissed.

Can I view all the information I entered in my old DS 160 if I have to create a NEW DS 160 form application. So that I will update only the portion that I need to update. Thank you for your comments

Thank you for the video, but I have a feeling that this whole complicated process is pointless if anybody can just hop the fence and become an illegal in the US and then (optionally) legalize from out there.

Be sure to discuss your life back home - your school, your family, etc. - and your plans while in the US. Good luck!

Please if you have won a DV lottery in the past but did not get a second notification to book an interview appointment, does that pass for applying for a visa before?

Hello, Sir. I'm delighted to have watched your video as I am planning to apply for a visa. I currently work online, and I just want to ask if you also contact the employers we input in our application? Thanks

Possibly! Best advice is to be honest, and answer all of the Visa Officer's questions as truthfully as possible.

Respected sir, I did not understand why I was denied visa for my second son's graduation..... Even though I was running business from past 20years and I got some properties worth 5 to 6 crores..... And I can speak english and understand as well. I relly got shocked why I was rejected visa with genuine information..... I had an impression that a country like US pll will be systamatic and work according to rule but without examining a single document she rejected my visa and I lost interest in visiting US also.
