eBay custom water cooling kit from China! Cheap?? Good?? Sketchy??. Must watch! Pt 1

That pump has a problem, you can´t control it, unless you buy a DC controller to the 4 pin molex, the radiator is in aluminiun(it just works, remember to change the liquid in the next 6 - 12 months), the fan´s are just bad, but they work for that price. If you want a good and cheap pump, look for the SC-P67F, its a pwm pump, the plastic chassis is strong, you can buy from syscooling for about 25 buck´s, or look on aliexpress for the same pump for 15 - 19 bucks with shipping.

Thanks for the info. This kit is def cheap and crappy but was mostly bought to learn from. Def appreciate the info on that pump and will check it out!

@@DLMtechgarage This kind of a problem with this kind of kits, they are cheap, but aren´t very good, no good in-deep reviews on cpu block, pumps or even the radiators. And in a way you could get cheaper material if you buy it separated.

Bought this about a month ago and finally had the time to put it all together. Also ran into a bad pump. Mine jiggles a little when i try to power it on, but wont spin. Think its best to go ask about warranty

Thankfully I was able to catch under warrant (see part 2 for more) and they gave me refund for it. After that I was able to properly test it but yea the pumps are junks and I have gotten the same feedback from money people on those pump. Thanks for watching and subscribe for more!

1. What you wanted to say that people there aren't so wealthy in your area. 2. If the radiator is light its Aluminium nothing wrong with that. 3. Mixing metals is no issue, just use proper fluid. No need to change fluid every so often, don't listen to the nonsense ppl try to tell you, they have no experience, most of it is anecdotal, just don't run pure water. Check it initially after 1 to 2mths. Then in 6months. If the fluid is clear is not milky much you can leave the same fluid for year or years. 3. The kit is excellent for the price for what it is. Yes its not EK but if installed correctly it will do good job, chinese companies got way better than 10 years ago. 4. The only weak part is the pump. Try sc-600, they are 10USD, if you are lucky and the pump holds, you are good for some time. 5. If the cooling isn't what you expected, take the blocks out and polish the surface well. 6. Sorry about the pump. 7. GREAT REVIEW LOVE IT, KEEP US POSTED!!! 8.I almost forgot about the fans... yes they aren't the best fans out there but they aren't bad. If you don't plan to do some serious OC they will do just fine.

Thanks for watching and greatly appreciate your input. I do agree that this kit was actually better then I thought, In fact, I have another video where I did a review on a thermaltake cpu cooler and revealed that I totally forgot to remove the clear plastic on the bottom of the cpu block. major rookie mistake which means this cooler actually worked better then I though. Plan to do a follow up on this cooler and test it on a GPU in the future and try it with cpu and gpu together to see how it holds up.
