I have one of those 😊 love it! optics and image quality(as long as you use iso 80) is nice. It does not run well on thin memory card (kind of requires one to use cf)

Hi! I bought one Olympus E-20 from Ebay. It has a thin smartcard and I took some photos everything ok but when I took the smartcard from it and put it back again it says card error and I can not take photos anymore. I tried to format it in the camera but no success. I bought a usb cable but when I connect to notebook or pc it does not reconize. Maybe You can help me. Thank You! Emmanuel Távora Freire.

In my experience the camera doesn't work well with the thin smart memory cards. I'd suggest you you a good quality compact flash (note that there's likely a max supported size).

Camera uses 4 AA batteries. Not hard to find.

Lens is not removable in this model. Cannot mount any other lens onto it too. That is why "tele" and "wide" "converters" ('screw-ons' 62mm - as filters, but lot heavier and expensive that most expensive filters available at the time) dedicated for this model were popular. If you plan to disconnect this lens form the body by destroying the camera - it is possible, but lens itself has no electronical stearing, moves only with hand (completely manual and mechanical). It should work with any adapter, as long as you would be able to attach such (the adapter) for this lens, and not destroying or breaking any glass in the process. Lens is not weathersealed, but have ED glass inside and great range of 3-4x zoom - worth a try if you happen to have broken E-10 or E-20 laying around :)
