eBay's BIGGEST Glitch Ever: Sales Plummeted!

Same here. On Monday, sales plummeted and have yet to recover. It’s not a coincidence that many, many sellers experienced the same issue beginning on the same day. This is BY FAR my worst week of the year and I feel that many other sellers would say the same thing. All I ask is for a little transparency. There is clearly an issue so, please, eBay, let us know what is happening.

I clicked on your video to see what you’ve seen. The wackiest thing was I’d click on an item to view it and it would bring up another. Live listings, not solds. Huh? I repeated several times. Felt like I was going slightly crazy. A few worked correctly but many did not. Imagine new buyer, or any buyer…not good.

That barcode thing is a must-have. Definitely is a very smart move. You will smash through your stuff. The new software will add quantity if you have it already. Then you can add your own pictures only if the item is worth $15 or more (or whatever you decide).

It’s been 11 days for me zero promoted sales in 11 days .. eBay pissed me off saying it’s all ok so not putting a ticket in.. I went through the roof .., it’s killing me .. 80% of my sales were promoted ..

I’ve been watching your channel for about a year now. At first I didn’t believe a lot of the glitches and what not. Now this is the third time your sales and my sales have been bad the same days. I’m seeing a pattern now. The funny thing is when my sales are bad my father in laws sales are great. He has a 145 item store mostly selling Disney beanie babies and nascar items… coincidence??

Sales have been awful since they changed the site for the new cancellation button.

when you get the new modem you will have issues with your printer. The new one doesn't have the 2-2.5g on it. you will have to do your printer different. My ring doorbell still worked fine just has issues with my printer and it still is slow but does get faster after a couple of printed labels. I have a ink jet printer. I know you have the heat transfer label printer so hope you have no issues. I am just giving you a heads up. if you have a 2-2.5g router you might want to keep it or did it out.

James Europe has introduced a new tax and product information section to selling items to the European peopleand the U.K. It's quite detailed similar to our items specifics. If your unable to provide that information and also have a special reseller number, you will no longer be able to sell to those people and so you might be getting a spike due to them knowing that this is coming. I believe it's December. 12 at which time if you unable to comply with the new requirements to sell to the UK and Europe, your listings might not be accessible, But eBay has not confirmed that yet, or if they're going to come up with a workaround for us to access them again through the new requirements. But they did put some information on there website about it., so they might be just going crazy right now. Trying to grab everything they can. As US sellers might drop off of their options to purchase from soon.

The only thing I'm not liking about eBay is if you win an auction and they don't ship the item. I feel like you should get something out of the exchange. Maybe ebay can throw the buyer half the final value fee for the inconvenience of getting your auction won order cancelled because they believed the price "wasn't high enough" there is literally an option for reserve price, but it's cheaper just to refund the buyer it seems.
