The BIG problem to ME is the FEED BACK part ? I have over 70 + buyers / sellers , that have NOT given me my feed back at all ! I use to send out these right away as a buyer , then this BIG problem has showed up ? So, NOW all my listings are set up on AUTO feed backs , NO free feed backs sent out any more by me . I'm at a feed back for a feed back , now .

I think your math at 1:38 is missing two things. One, the 13.25% is on the total amount that the seller pays including sales tax. So its 13.25% of cost of the card + sales tax. Also there is a 30 cent insertion fee in addition to that. To be conservative, I always assume my break-even point is at a $1.50 free shipping. Cuz after the fees, if you include the cost of material like the envelope, shipping label, top loader, penny sleeve and anything else you need to package everything together, you pretty much can rack up to $1.50 of expenses. Personally I try to steer away from cards under $2 now unless I know they are hot and will sell lightning fast or if I feel ppl are likely to buy multiples of that card(then I get some bulk discounts with the insertion fee and shipping). Just my two cents. Thanks for the vid!

Ever thought of putting cards in a sticker vending machine? You can load those sticker cardboard sleeves with a few cards and sell them via a vending machine.

I was shipping a card this morning and asking myself "Why do we painters tape the top of the holder?" The card is not going to just slide out. Most of the time those holders are pretty tight.

Dude, you are paying a ton for those plastic protectors. Instead, buy vending machine sticker/card cardboard sleeves. 😀👍 You can easily find them for about 2 cents each.

Enjoyed your video. However, on your expenses don't forget the .30 cent Final Value Fee (always 30 cents no matter if one card purchase or 20 as long as done together) for sale of an auction that is also there. one card sale .30 (Final Value Fee) + .13 (if $1.00) so total eBay fee on a $1.00 card sale is 0.43 cents. Final Value Fees I don't believe can be waived at any point no matter the size of store you have on eBay.

Have you looked for tutorial videos online? I use a Dymo 450 Labelwriter, and print labels onto what is colloquially called the 2"x7" sticker. I am the inventor of this size shipping label and actually taught PirateShip the method, and now they offer it as an option.

Forgot to post my question. I am shipping using CardBoard Gold 3x4 Standard Top Loaders. I have recently been getting a ton back as non-machinable from the post office. When Shipping I put the card in a penny sleeve, than top loader and on top use painter's tape. I tape it to a piece of paper (not cardboard just a standard piece of paper) and ship in a size 10 envelope with a thermal label. When I went to the post office they said that the Top-loader is to thick/dense and it by itself is non-machinable and needs the .44 nonmachinable upcharge. When I asked eBay they said I need to use a thinner top-loader. I am unaware of a thinner Top-Loader that eBay is saying to use. Do you have any recommendations there on what a thinner top-loader would be?

This is the issue that absolutely no KZbin content creator has discussed, unfortunately. I dealt with so many over the Xmas season being returned all of a sudden for additional postage. Guess it depends if you have someone at usps that doesn’t care about every single little rule and many mailings make it through. I was irritated at not having an answer for the inconsistency when I was consistent in my shipping process. Anyway, I came to learn that eBay standard envelope should have postage rates that mirror “non-machinable” mail and the surcharge that comes with it. This is because a standard letter runs through a “kinda like S machine” and top loaders are too rigid. Some sellers ship in semi rigid and that’s just not right for the safe shipment of a card…. But whatever. So if you look up the “2024 Rates for Odd-sized Letters that Weigh More Than One Ounce” you will see that eBay has their prices way inaccurate for us. The max we can choose is 3oz for $1.12. Well most cards with a standard top loader might be like 1.1oz 1.2. This means we need to be paying for the 2oz rate which is $1.36…… this is too much to try and explain in a comment so I hope you follow lol. Basically, I have had ZERO issues with my orders being returned to me for additional postage once i started choosing eBay’s 2oz rate( $.88 )PLUS adding 1 regular forever stamp. That means my total postage I’m paying for shipping 1 card, with top loader, team bag, business card, receipt and a sticker is $1.52. I can usually sneak in 1 free card as long as that one is just in penny sleeve. Anyway, all you need to do is look up the 2024 rates and then get to either $1.12/$1.36/$1.60 with a combo of paying some on eBay shipping label and add a stamp for the rest. I also bought a stamp off amazon to stamp my items “non-machinable mail”. It was only like $10. I hope this helps. I’m on the verge of creating my first ever content video just to help everyone with this part lol. (Btw the tracking not updating will be an ongoing issue unfortunately. Only USPS regional hubs can scan ESUS apparently and even then, the folks working aren’t necessarily consistent.) Hope this helps!

You have to take into account ebay allows buyers to steal ur cards the tracking doesn't work most of the time

I once had a guy in the Middle/Near east buy I believe 4 copies of a video game. Never heard from him after the original back and forth, so I checked again and he told me he never got them. I thought about starting the refund process, but realized he might be lying. So I just waited. He never filed a claim. Likely either got them very late, or lied.
