4/4, and your videos are 10/10. We list 15 a day and have been doing it just on one year. Love all your tips. As for sales, we picture a giant mechanical chocolate wheel that someone at eBay spins every few hours. Sometimes, we sell heaps next day, almost nothing. Very strange.

Went to an eBay Conference in Brighton Uk this month, and they were talking about everything you've just said. Their recommendation was after 90 days to take down the listing check over the words, pictures & price points and then just relist the items. This will give you boost, along with trying promoted listings.

Alexanderellis: Personally, I wouldn't 'relist', I would 'Sell Similar' (not to split hairs, but they use two different terms for what is essentially a relisting). If you 'relist', yes, you keep your watchers... but (so I believe) it doesn't act like a 'Sell Similar' listing would - which is, essentially, a new listing.

I really don’t think eBay pull old listings. I think it’s customers not paying and then items are not automatically being relisted. This happens to new items !! not just old. Very worrying. Need system in place to check unpaid items are relisted. Love your videos. I’ve watched al of them since you started. Lorraine from London U.K.

They definitely delete/ lose listings. Over the years I have been selling there have probably been several hundred. New and old. And none were cancelled or unpaid. They won't admit it is an issue though so it is hard to work out if it's a glitch or a policy. Super frustrating

4/4 if your listing are old. Have you considered when all the changes occurred with item specifics and category changes. If you did not update these in time ebay told you the items would delist. Love your videos and follow your tips and tricks. Always open to learn new things even when you are a "seasoned" seller.

Yeah I found some shit in my boxes that weren't listed. Might go through more of them on the weekend. I had the same sort of sales week. Started strong, dipped to 2 days of FA, then today back on like donkey kong. Great video. Great tips.

I have over 11000 listings and when i recently moved we did a stocktake and have found at least 200 items no longer listed. So very annoying!! Ebay should give you a warning that if you dont make some changes to the listing it will be removed due to being stale.

Just went through my store a couple weeks ago, before my garage sale. Over 40 listings had disappeared! For those simpsons discs, i would definitely recommend a resurfacer. Especially since you have courtneys help. Even a jfj easy pro would work great! Just has a bit of a learning curve. Cheers!

I am not sure that I have noticed this happening in my store..there was a couple of items that I found unlisted when I was doing a stock count etc but I think they might have been ones that I had actually ended but forgot to pull out to donate but I have heard of it happening to other sellers. So because of this I decided to really keep a close check on my inventory so I have set up my inventory so that I can match the total number of items against total number I have listed in my store. No I definitely do not think it is ok for eBay to pull listings without telling us..an email or message saying this has happened would be great but I am also unsure if they are actually deliberately doing this or if it is just some sort of glitch.

Every 3 months I do an end and sell similar. Prior to the sell similar I check the picture, description and price just to make sure they are right. As sell similar lists them as a new listing I never have this issue. Have to say that I only have 430 (total) active at present, so a month is only about 140 - 150.

I have falling off items all the time. I do inventory twice a year. Even with doing sell similar. Also, if you are checking just the SKU number you put in your listing, you may find the item still listed in the store if you type your item in the search of your store. I think it is wrong that they don't let you know. After all, we are paying for that store. If you are going to relist, be sure to do a sell similar. It boosts it in the search.

I'm a little sceptical about this. eBay removing items available for sale without notifying the seller? That would be very unusual. I still have old listings up after 3 years and that's never happened to me. They would have to have a policy in place to do this. Anyone have a link?

I was just complaining about this about a month ago. Only difference I guess is that I end and sell similar every month before my items roll over. So to see 3 items no longer listed was pretty discouraging.

Item specifics there is a section you can enter SKU which the customer can’t see but you can. That’s where you’d put tub 009

I delist and realist after 30 days! I’ve found shipping preferences removed .. totally nothing do those items won’t sell… then I’ve had my clothing put on media mail and sold when the items are priority mail over 1lb.. crazy stuff that eBay denies snd says they can’t change anything 😂😂

Definitely need to look at investing in a decent disc polisher so you aren't leaving stuff behind. That's if they werent damaged beyond repair.

This is something I wonder about. I've had so many left behind. And i have a box of 'cloudy' discs. So many amazing titles but no idea how to clean them. Can't sell them as is though 🤷‍♀️ Does a disc cleaner work for the clouding discs get? Or just scratches

@@viv6850 Both, if they are deep scratches, it might take a few deep runs unless the scratches are too deep and the disc is actually damaged. There are a few machines out there, I use a venmill which was the one common in a lot of video shops back in the day. I can run cd's, dvd's, games through the machine.

4 x 4. eBay have always (10yrs) denied that they remove listings. But... someone removes them!!!! Every stocktake so many items disappear. They definitely need to inform us when they remove a listing.

Ebay don't really care about the time taken to put the listing up, just how much money they make from you. I had a listing that (Fe)eBay took down for an autographed match ticket. I made it clear that the ticket will NOT provide entry to an event (as the event had already past), all this was very obvious to anyone of sound mind. They were just purchasing the autograph on a ticket stub (and there's so many listings out there of the same type of item). Ebay took my listing down, as I presume some jealous scroat reported my listing. Ebay said that the reselling of tickets to an event is prohibited on the Ebay platform. There was no reasoning with the person I called up (at their Philippines call centre), just basically a 'computer said no' response. All the effort made to make the listing, gone. And I was told not to relist.

paying an employee risks running your cash flow dry. In this situation if you're going to hire somebody for your ebay business (not youtube) I would want to see at least a 2x input for their services. for example if you are paying courtney in this case $400 a week or whatever I would hope with her help you can make $800 more dollars so she is fully paid for and she is making you more money. Otherwise your investment in 'her' isn't paying you dividends, and in this recent case, it's costing you money.

I do a monthly stocktake for this very reason. And every single month there are missing listings. And they aren't all old. And none of them are unpaid / cancelled sales. We can download a listing quality report so why doesn't eBay provide a list of deleted listings or a report of upcoming deletions as part of that report?? Although the worst is when they relist a sold item and it sells again - that's happened a few times too 🤬
