1989 Peugeot 505 Turbo 5-speed Walkaround

Had an ‘84 505 STI...and own a ‘91 405 Mi16. Drove this car in ‘94...BUT...just when the weather became icy/snowy in Wisconsin(co-worker’s car and I did NOT want to put it in a ditch)...it had VERY GOOD torque...SMOOTH & FAST. Might start looking for one of these...BUT...probably just going to wait for Peugeot’s return to USA and buy a brand new Peugeot which will be a FIRST for me. Also, hoping Renault will sell their new Alpine in the USA...but I know that will likely never happen. Driving my 405 Mi16 to Indianapolis for Formula 1 and running with Ferraris and Porsches...when the hammer went down around the belt-way...that was SO MUCH FUN.

I had an 84 base model 5 speed. Nothing fancy, but so enjoyable to drive! Felt nice sitting in it...like it was designed for me. I’d buy another if they still made them!!!

In 1989, North American finally got the European bumpers and taillights. The only thing I changed was the headlights. As long as they have low and high beams, they pass state safety inspections.
