I just got mine in today and it has specific application and uses. I have the helikon bandit like you and didn’t like how it protruded out so much but this wears a little closer to my body. I just wish the beetle stock had a back pocket like the bandit does.

Can confirm a Glock 19 with a trigger guard holster will fit in there but a Glock 19 with a RMR definitely won’t fit lol

Great pack, great review, thanx. Does the material seems to you waterproof or at least rainproof?

Seems water resistant due to the multiple layers that make up the material, but I wouldn't bet on it keeping everything bone dry if you are caught in a deluge.

what is the brand of your inside holster? I am looking for a similar holster/trigger guard. I like that it can be fastened in place.

It's a Seven Star Tactical special. 😁 I make my own holsters for the most part. I made this one "upside down" so the rivets are at the top so I could get it as low as possible in a waist pack compartment. After I finished it up I just used industrial Velcro on the back so it will stick really, really well to loop material. It's cut really far forward on the trigger guard so I can get a good grip on the draw, so I am careful to not have anything that could slip in there and cause an ND in the compartment with the firearm.

I have a LAPG Frunk. I am thinking about this fanny pack for the rear accessibility aspect. I have also looked at the Hill People Snubby. Thoughts on those in comparison to this one? I have a Glock 43x

Great info. So what would you think of this compared to the Hill People Snubby @@SevenStarMountain-X7 ? Is the extra expense maybe not worth it. Maybe the Bando is less tactical?

@@shawnnielsen1898 As long as you don't choose a camo option, both are pretty low profile. My issues with the Snubby are: Expense - one of the more expensive options out there. Availability - HPG is always out of everything when you want to buy it. And the one strip of loop material in the CCW compartment. That should be covered like the Bando or you are very limited as far as placement of the holster.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I think the Bando might be on my shortlist. I have the Frunk and will probably replace it. @@SevenStarMountain-X7. I would assume my Glock 43X with Bottom plate extender from NDZ should fit ok.
