I have a set of gaiters by T&K Hunting Gear and they have two of those G hooks on each gator. If they aren’t floppy loose, they will stay on with no problem. I’m fact, the stirrup is a thin steel cable that loops onto the G hook and it has only slid off once and it was because it was real loose.

A very nice review! I got the battleship and the halftrack from Eberlestock. They are great but not perfect. I also had to modify them for my taste n needs. Some of my old surplus gears work even better, ILBE, ALICE and so on.. Talking about the comfort and convenience, Eberlestock wins! Durability and load hauling capability, US military wins!

I’m debating in either doing high speed or big trick. For like on the move n truck bag). Then I’m gonna go gunslinger g2 for when I’m ducking with long rifle then the g4 for shtf ruck, but if you could help out with my first truck set up it would help

Good review. But I am interested in it for urban use. How well does it carry a laptop? (maybe that would be useful in the portfolio pocket that you removed??)

Should take a look at Kifaru! A lot more comfortable system in my experience. Great videos!

AJ Dube kifaru definitely makes top notch stuff but for my taste there’s simply not enough base organization in the pack. Out of all their packs I’d give the 14R a test drive

@One Chance TS what color was the one you purchased? I am interested in picking one up but cant really tell which color is "Army Green" or "Dry Earth" per their website etc. Thanks for taking the time putting together doing your review. I love your process, thoroughness, and attention to all the pertinent and smallest of details. I look forward to seeing more of your stuff in the future!

What cup are you using with your Nalgene? It looks like it fits perfectly. I was just getting ready to switch to a steel Nalgene and that cup would work perfectly.

I'm thinking about picking this pack up to fulfill an EDC role as well as keep other necessary items in (jacket, gloves, medical, etc.). How do you think this bag would perform in that role?
@Onechancetacticalsolutions
@Onechancetacticalsolutions 5 жыл бұрын
For an EDC role this bag will definitely fit the bill. A few reasons are 1) organization 2) it’s comfortable given a standard or slightly heavy load for an EDC bag ( 20-25) pounds 3) in my opinion it doesn’t scream Tactical Timmy What I’d also recommend is removing the waist belt and just sticking it in the closet. The waist belt can be usable but if you are the taller side it’s not going to sit correctly on your hips. Other than that I have no complaints on this bag. If you wanted something a little bigger the Kifaru 14R is the next step up

@@Onechancetacticalsolutions Thank you for the reply! I think I have watched both of your videos on this pack about 6 times each. I sold my Maxpedition Falcon III because it just didn't quite have the organization that I was looking for. I'm an EMT and want my pack to be able to hold my medical supplies, as well as hold my personal every day items. I think this HiSpeed II looks great. Thanks.

Where do you find the spare buckles and 25mm webbing for your pack? I hear you mention brands a couple times but I can't find them online.
@Onechancetacticalsolutions
@Onechancetacticalsolutions 4 жыл бұрын
Bobby & Alyssa Forest Most of the 1 inch webbing you can get from eBay or amazon. Just type in molle lashing straps or 1 inch webbing. G hooks are also on Amazon if you need them. If you need fastex buckles I normally use the ITW fastex buckles a s those to are on amazon or eBay

Just got mine. Did you cut the long straps that hang down? The length on mine definitely wouldn't roll up as tight as yours.

Andrew Halpern yes, once I figured what was the maximum adjustment I’d ever need was and then made extra sure that I thought everything through I trimmed all of the straps after that

Hey, nice review. I got my hispeed today and I hate the porfolio as well. So I will modify it too. Aufter cutting out the portfolio pocket, how is the hook and loop attached to the bag? Is the inside bag for the bladder still usable?
@Onechancetacticalsolutions
@Onechancetacticalsolutions 10 ай бұрын
Yes the bladder pocket is still usable. After I cut the portfolio pocket out I re-sewed that loop directly to the bladder pocket

Do you foresee any problems with the frame rubbing through the material of the pack? I feel like with it being 420D, the material might begin to wear down around the corners of the frame at the top, over time. Wondering how yours has held up in these areas.
@Onechancetacticalsolutions
@Onechancetacticalsolutions 4 жыл бұрын
Bobby & Alyssa Forest The wear around the frame is going to be contingent on how abused the pack gets as a whole. The gossamer frame has rounded corners so I don’t see it wearing through any of the fabric. In my opinion the weakest part of this pack will be the zippers. Specifically where the zipper tracks make a 90 degree corner which are top edges. I still have this pack to this day, it’s a great pack and between this and my Kifaru 14r they both get used pretty frequently and I have no failures on either of them yet.

Thanks for the reply. This video, and part 2, are one of the only reviews out there on this pack. If you weren't so detailed with the review, I might not have pulled the trigger on it. Nice job.

Hello One Chance TS Great review of this pack (ended up getting 1) and my question to you is? you removed the "organizer pouch"and sew the shelf (divider) on to the bag.. did you sew the velcro attachment below the large pouch that would hold the camelback (water bladder) ?,,,and did you just cut the "organizer pouch" out with a knife ? thank you and great job on the review
@Onechancetacticalsolutions
@Onechancetacticalsolutions 4 жыл бұрын
bulldog688 if I’m understanding your question correctly. I carefully cut the organizer out with a scissor. I then just took the Velcro for the shelf and sewed it directly to the bag

thanks for getting back to me, my bad for a poorly phrased question,,i've watched you're review a few times and i'm thinking you sew the Velcro shelf to the flexible back pocket that could hold the camelback water pouch...is that correct ? thanks again,, well thought out pack Bulldog688@@Onechancetacticalsolutions
