Genius! The lid modification should be considered by the company! I got V90 Battleship which is one giant beast. The lid was not detachable so I cut off the lid from the pack, added buckles and straps. Now it works as a separate messenger style pack. I thought hispeed pack is a goofy one but with your mods, it looks dang sick!

The best video I've seen about mounting the Fanny Top Bag. Very clever. Will have to do something similar with my Little Big Top setup. I just can't understand why Eberlestock designed the lid to be so hard to use out of the box.

@@Onechancetacticalsolutions Any thoughts on the version of this pack with the rifle scabbard? I think it's the X31 LoDrag II? It looks otherwise identical but I can't tell what the negative would be to having that extra feature.

@@LukePighetti the negative is you’d loose a substantial amount of capacity to have a scabbard that probably wouldn’t get used to much anyway.
