In reality the noise level is not as high as on video. Camera microphone is very sensitive :)

Hi Harley, the fuel consumption is 0.6l/hour on full load and 0.3l/hour on half load. Hope it helps :)

yes it is, you`ll need header tank and calorifier as well :) it`s quite powerful

Hi, pin 3&4 fuel pump, pin 1+, pin2-, pin7 +, pin6+ (start/stop the heater). ECU power fuel pump. Water pump can be powered from pin 6 as well

+x007john most helpful information of pin 6 and 7 +12v to start. But actually pin 4 powers the fuel pump with reference to chassis (0V) pin 6 is i think is the diagnostics.

@@gdrozd555 To start, heater needs +12V permanently on pin 7 for controller. You can use + from battery or if heater is on the car you can use + from alternator. On pin 6 you can use an ON/OFF switch or a temperature switch. Pin 6 also at +. For example, on the + battery wire at pin 6, insert an ON/OFF switch.

Hi. I have problems connecting my Eberspacher D5ws that has only 5 wires except the two wires for the water pump. The heater comes from a Volvo and has the colors: red brown blue green and blue/white. Do you know how to connect this?

Hello. Great test setup thank you. This video guides to many questions I think. I'd like to install an oem Webasto from a Land Rover (Because they are cheaper than non oem) for my electric vehicle. I wonder what is needed to make it work safely. Only an on-off switch or any computerized i/o signalization? I think there is an onboard computer which makes pump and the ignition plug and some temperature sensors to make it start and stop automatically. Does it stop and restart at a specific temperature? Is everything automated? If so, I think I can install an oem part with only a switch.

Hello, i'm looking for an instant Water heater, your Model looks good but also look not Quick enough to take a worm shower Quick? Maybe more for a floor eating? Maybe some one knows à diesel Water instant heater ? Fonds loads of LPG for the wall of thé RV but not thé same in diesel. Thanks

Hi How have you wired this up please? i see you have wired the water pump strieght to the battery, what connections do you have to the plug coming from the unit? do the wires from the unit power the fuel pump?. all i have is the unit and fuel pump no wiring harness. i know i need a water pump but i am unsure how the rest is wired up.

it sounds so loud... how loud is this unit after proper installation? seems like it would wake the entire campsite. is the noise an issue?

If installed under chasis for exampe it will quieter. Also different muffler will much quieter, like Webasto 9001800D

Hi John, thank you for replying, but mine is from a jaguar, and I only have Red, Brown, Blue/white, Black, Blue can you tell me which ones connect where, i really would appreciate the help. there is no markings to pin numbers, so colour to +/- would be easier to understand. Thank you.
