I have a stealth bomber clone with a 72v 40AH stock battery, the battery is wrapped in blue plastic, but I pulled my battery out after 2 years and can see where the screws are burrowing into the plastic. it already rubbed through the blue plastic, I'm going to wrap it in a steel cover. but if I didnt know or left it alone it would have eventually cut into the cells.

So shouldn’t the enclosures for the battery case - whether the case itself is made of metal or polycarbonate - be made with countersunk screws that sit flush with the bottom and sides of the enclosure? Wouldn’t that reduce friction wearing through the battery case?

I definitely trust the guys at Powerful Lithium, they build awesome batteries. Going from a 23AH battery to the 50AH Theia in my Onyx made a HUGE difference, not only in range but with a higher discharge. And they recommended a charger and that arrived yesterday( the 20S). I'm definitely rockin with Powerful Lithium.
