Greetings from Southern California. The trailer looks just about the right length for a solar panel. Definitely a cool trailer. ✌️🇺🇸

Nicely nicely. Just picked up a similar trailer, pull gardening work tools, but also for wild camping adventures too! Thanks for sharing 🧡😎🤙🏼 🇬🇧

Look up before pitching tent under pine trees, if you even bump the tree huge branches can fall on your tent😮😊😊😊😊😊

very nice i just wish it was full suspension

Hello, I can see why you might want a full suspension trailer.... like for hauling pets and other animals, but for hauling gear this trailer works very well with a solid axle. The big tires do act a bit like suspension, but you wouldn't want to air them down too much or it would make it difficult to pull. Cheers

Nice video! The trailer has me wondering about a trailer that has mounts for batteries, so you could wire your bike to your trailer for much farther rides. alternatively, maybe a motor on the trailer with its own battery. it would detect speed and not try to "push" or anything, just "take some of the load off"

Thank you! I recently got a 1000w Crafuel battery power station for that very reason. It comes with solar panels and stores more than enough power for a full 20ah ebike recharge. My thinking is that if you buy an extra battery for your ebike is is only good for that particular bike, but the power station can be used for all sorts of things and can power all sorts of devices. I'll be taking that power station in the trailer and on all future camping trips! The powered trailer is an interesting idea, my first thought on it would be that the trailer should have a center line push/pull mount like a seat post mount instead of a side axle mount. Just a more balanced push. If you come up with a working model please send me some pics and I'll show it here on the channel! Cheers

What a fine camping spot and a great way to get there and enjoy it. I am awaiting my first bike and have been eyeing that trailer. I just don't get why they put that offset section in it. I get it, that it should allow hauling longer items, but it just seems a waste. What is your take on it? I suppose there is sound reasoning behind it that I am not aware of. I am impressed with your loadout in that you are not showcasing outrageously priced "pay for a name" gear. You really had quite a large load. I just hope that I can get in shape and do this.

Hi Wayne, it is a nice trailer for sure. It is the largest trailer I have and the only one with a water resistant compartment. I see your point, unless you're hauling something longer than the trailer it becomes a bit of an awkward space. I plan to add a 1/4 inch abs plastic liner to the side rail on the wheel side of this open space.... I've had things poke through the side rail and rub on the tire. I will definitely make a few personal changes to the trailer to make it fit what I use it for, but very happy with it in general. Cheers

@@lifebehindbarz60 Thanks for the response. I have tossed this one around as well as the the Aosom Wanderer....it is $124 and is 28" L x 16.5" W x 9.75" H. Only problem is there is no cover. Looks about the same size but without being compartmentalized. I am just wondering if I could get a local upholster to sew be a cover but likely to be too expensive. My desire is to have one that my 80 qt. Remington weatherproof (O-Ring in cover) Tote could fit in but would still want it covered to keep dirt and mud off of it. That Remington tote, btw, is awesome and cheap at Tractor Supply....$39 and stackable.

Hi Wayne, just checked out the Remington tote, pretty cool. The aosom trailers are definitely lighter duty than this one I have, but if you think it will work for you then why not try it. I see that some models of the Aosom trailers do come with covers too, maybe get one of them? It would probably cost more to have a cover / compartment sack sewn than you paid for the trailer, at least it would around here. I would just say if you plan to haul heavy loads this Pacycle trailer is a great choice. Cheers

@@lifebehindbarz60 Looking closely at the Pacycle it is definitely a fine trailer. I love the 20" Kenda tires. Although it is a bit pricey, there is an instant $100 off bringing it to $449. My problem is, at 76 years of age, I am really not sure how all of this is going to work out for me. Although I am in reasonably good health, I have been sedentary for 5 solid years....caring for my wife who passed three years ago, I got into a rut. I am doing quite a bit of car camping and I have an RV as well. So, I think I need to first get my bike in and see how that goes before investing very much into this. I do have all the camping gear necessary, other than light bedding gear. We shall see how it goes and hopefully I can do this. I truly enjoyed your video and subbed. That is such beautiful country. My wife and I made annual trips out west for ten years in a row. We would spend 5-6 weeks fly fishing in New Mexico, Colorado, Idaho, and Wyoming. One of our favorites spots was the Cochetopa and the Conejos in southern Colorado. Williams Lake, in Pagosa, was another favorite. I should have been raised in the mountains instead of the swamps of Louisiana. 😁How I do love the mountains.

Hi Wayne, sorry that the last few years have been so tough and sorry about your wife. But, I'm very happy you are making the effort to get back out and do what you enjoy! I think you are right, it makes sense to get the bike and see how you like it. Who knows, you may be able to get by just fine with a rear rack and a large set of bags to hang on it, a lot of people do. I know all the places you mention and they are absolutely beautiful. I feel very lucky to have grown up here in Colorado. You have about 10 years on me but I remember when I could go out into the back country and not see another person for days. Not that way anymore but it's still so much fun!
