Yes we'd definitely recommend Giant, I'm sure there are some good other brands too but we've been really happy with ours. Michelle's chain broke when we were deep and remote in Wales, lucky for us we were at the highest point and managed to free wheel down to a village where there happened to be bike shop. I thought - you don't get this lucky twice!!! Cheers 😀

@ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jo, unfortunately that video didn't get made, well it hasn't yet, its firmly on the todo list but others have taken priority, you aren't the first to ask so I will get to it soon. In the meantime...I use OSMaps online (£23.99 per year subscription) but it is more than worth it. I look for the points of interest that I want to incorporate into the ride, then I look at how I can join them together. Firstly I use OS Maps with the national cycle network view, they are always the best to follow, then I switch view to "Premium Topo" and look for the smallest tracks / roads that join the rest of the ride up. Plotting them on the computer or app gives me the distance and elevation so I can make sure we aren't over or under committing ourselves. You are then able to follow the route as you ride turn by turn. Hope that helps 😀 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
