EBM Sound design with the new MC-101 Synth Engine!

Hi all! Thanks for watching as always. It was requested I look into some EBM style bass/lead patches on the 101. I hope I did them and the 101 justice here, definitely still learning and exploring the sound engine! Thanks! Yeah it’s all in the update manual that Roland has, and if you’re used to reading Roland manuals it’s clear enough that after a little work with it you should be able to figure it out. Great Example! Envelope as Matrix SRC to control LFO Pitch! I needed this! When you use Zenology Pro you can reverse the fade in of the LFO (Fade Mode ON-OUT), but on the MC-101 directly you don't have access to that ( it is stuck as ON-IN, afaik). Anyway, your example here is a sort of work around if you already have an attack envelope. Thank you!

Thank you! I actually didn’t realize you could do that in Zenology pro, so thanks for the tip! Even if you aren’t already using an envelope, like if you have a patch that doesn’t use the pitch envelope you can just set the pitch depth on the pitch envelope to 0, then use it as a regular adsr and route it wherever you want in the mod matrix.
