I'd definitely want a better battery cover, I wouldn't be caught dead with that one I like that this battery doesn't need the seat extender mod on the Talaria

Apple does have an app for the BMS, you just cannot change any parameters, only monitor.

Yeah. So the this EBMX battery is 45.5lbs. Heaviest battery ive owend. The Other Batteries I am referring are for the Sur-ron

Wowie over 4400 with charger Canadian I got my bike for 4700 lmao I dont mind paying quit a bit for a 72v bur that's way to much imo And for that price I want atheist 100km range in sport for commuting on pavment on my 17" sm wheels Right now stock I get almost 65km part eco part sport..prob about 55 in all sport.

@@electricisbetter, lol. A charger can’t balance cells. But as I understand it, these batteries use ANT Bluetooth BMS, which has passive balance that can either be started manually to run a full auto alarm session, or it can be set up like a $10 BMS that only balances at full charge. It can also be set to do a balance session at a specific cell differential. Default is 0.020v starts balance and 0.005v ends balancing. If you have this battery you absolutely must get the ANT app, which will give real SOC, not some fake battery % based strictly on cell voltage. The ANT uses coulomb counting to track energy used and therefore know the energy remaining. But this needs to be programmed in, which should have been done at the factory. All my ebike batteries use the ANT BMS. And I disable all balancing so that i can keep track of the battery health. Periodically ill start an autobalance session to begin a new monitoring period, then I just obey cell differential during acceleration and at rest at low SOC, these two will tell me the battery health, if anything is getting out of whack. If a CID trips in a cell you will see it in cell differential in the app. Battery health as far as capacity is another thing to periodically test, but thats more about keeping it cool and not stored fully charged. Your degradation will be based on that. This is one thing you don’t really see people reporting much because they just don’t test it, and the “when it was new I could ride 6 hours and now I can only ride 5 hours” is worthless information. Lol. But the ANT BMS and ant can help test and then any future text will show battery degradation.

But some people want a lot of power and range out of their electric bike. I'd say it's well worth the 3k. Along with the KO motor this thing can easily keep up with a 250cc. I'd kill to have a silent, quick, wheelie popping bike like this. Won't be pissing off the neighborhood when I'm riding through the woods or park, and you can charge it in your home. Sounds like a sweet ass deal to me

@shockadellick and I see where you're coming from.. but a street legal dirt bike used.. will cost you anywhere from 5k-7k, that's with high mileage and then you still gotta register and insure it. It would be more fun to have something untraceable, that makes no noise. I'm still stuck on either getting a talaria, or an old 250 KTM. But I'm low-key leaning towards the E-bike for easier mantienance

@@LongboardManiac Rumors spread and become facts and that's sad. I own a CRF230F super moto. Paid 3000.00 for it. Put 1500.00 in it and it totally Kicks butt. It has 29,000 + miles and all I've needed to do is change the oil every 500 miles. Gasoline is cheap for single cylinder motorcycles motors and the range on a tank of gas is about 80 to 100 miles depending on your riding style. 2500 miles on a Surron, and the motor has lived half of its lifespan. If you want more power? KO's motor is $1500.00 without taxes. KO's cheapest controller is 700.00 without taxes. A 72 volt battery is $2500.00 The new craze are the Surron type bikes. Get one, however, once the craze has completed its cycle, you'll need a real machine. E-bikes are good. They live somewhere between the real world and the cartoon world.
