God bless your dads soul! I was my mothers care taker for 9 years while my mother had kidney failure. It was very difficult and is more difficult now because Sadly she had passed away in May 15, 2017 hours after Mother’s Day. I know how you feel and until now I’m still struggling with the loss like it was yesterday years after her death. I’m sure your dad is proud of you and is now always with you inside your heart watching over you from now on! God bless! God bless!

I went through the same thing when my dad died four years ago. It is so hard to deal with practical things when you are grieving. My dad took care of all that stuff when my mom died two years previous so I had no idea how much there was to do and how complicated it can be. I hope you get through it all soon.

Wow, I just recently started following your channel. I did not expect a reading b vlog to be so spot on relatable. I too lost my Dad a couple years ago and this week am ALSO struggling to find the title to his van to transfer it into my own name. I do not have many friends my age that have parents who have passed away yet, so I feel a little bit like I’m on an island in terms of the non-grief complications of a family member passing. Not many people can relate to all the work, fine details, paperwork and legal technicalities involved with someone’s passing. Thank you for your vulnerability in sharing that, and I’m sorry for loss. When I was grieving, I read the Prophet by Khalil Gibran, his words on loss really helped me, not going to lie, cried like a baby but at the end of that cry, felt like I started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Wish you and your hubby the best in 2021. Tidus and Yuna forever!

I loved season 2 and have a lot of thoughts on season 3 of Castlevania too! Luna is too cute. Thanks for sharing the more emotional aspects of your week. The events last week in the Capitol were incredibly taxing in such a shocking way. I also empathize with the roller coaster aspects of grief, and I am sending positive thoughts as you continue to move forward. You always appear so positive on screen even when talking about sadder topics. I'm glad you are enjoying Spinning Silver (the POV changes bugged me too). I hope you end up having a more overall positive experience than I did (I didn't dislike it, but I don't think Novik is the author for me). I was planning to read Black Sun in February too. This week, I'm planning to read the rest of the An Ember in the Ashes series. I'm hoping to finish books 2-4 by Monday night.

Luna is so cute & funny! I’m sorry for the loss of your father and I know how you feel as my Dad died suddenly in 2017 and because my parents are divorced, I am the executrix of his estate. (I have a sister but she lives 2 hours away and it made it easier for me to be the one.) It’s a lot for someone to have to deal with those things alone. MS (where I live) might be different but when my grandma died, my Dad couldn’t find her car title and requested a new one so maybe check that out if you haven’t already. Hugs and Prayers for you! After what happened at the Capitol, I really hope the worst is over and 2021 will continue to get much better.

Hi Elliot, along the lines of Castlevania/vampires, I would love/like it if you check out VAMPIRE HUNTER D series, each volume is a small size for an avid reader like yourself. It is quite awesome, it is like a renaissance, futuristic, semi western, and maybe a lil steampunk vampire series. It does get a lil gory and rapey in a few scenes. There is the animation for it if you wanna check it out before reading the book, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust.

This video warmed my heart. I can imagine your pain, as I had to grieve my parents... Though they're still alive. I had to grieve not having emotionally involved/loving parents (abuse/neglect), so it's definitely different than losing a parent you were close to, but the pain is real in both ways and I'm giving you a virtual hug from my little corner of the earth (Québec, Canada). ❤️ I feel Canada is much more peaceful than the States, what happened was really terrible... Let's hope the Democrats will bring a breath of fresh air. I cannot believe no one has been arrested... That's outrageous! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on all these books. But take your time if you need to, we all need some answers and true peace, and escaping in books (or other medias) is not what will really heal us and make us grow as much as we'd need to in the end.
