Loved this interview! I was gifted a Custom X by a rep in Hawaii when my daughter was born. Took my riding to another level. And had no idea Debbie was such rad person. Thanks!

What an honor to have Debbie as my sister because she created such a remarkable business riddled with integrity and creativity. Most people don't know she had incredible fortitude as she worked her way through many up-and-down turns in the industry. She also supported my Magazine (BIM) and tour ( BIA) which I will also be grateful for her interest in growing the sport. Long Live my sister, I am sooo proud of her and her accomplishments. Thank you, Jay, for the great interview!

Fascinating history of how she built her business. That was fun being into bodyboarding in Carlsbad in the early 90s. Have one of her Custom X boards in my living room on display.

Good content Jay…Much love for Debbie. She’s always been so kind and supportive to me thru the years. Huge asset to the bodyboarding and the bodyboarding community.🤙🏽 Every bodyboarder should know some of this History if the don’t already. Thank you.

Debbie is the best-helped me out with some boards when I was in high school! It’s cool that she’s into birds-I am too! Our sport is so lucky to have people like Debbie and Patti!

Scott Hawaii, haven't heard that in a while. First board I ever bought at 15 was a Scott Edge - back in the Jack's Lay-Away Days! Great vid/interview!

How cool that lady, very down to earth despite such a significant role in bodyboard history.

What is Fred Booth up to? He and Roach were neck and neck as my favorite dk riders in the 90s.
