Great video once again! Have you ever thrown the Radical Katana Pearl? Awesome Ball!
@thefreeagentbowler43832 жыл бұрын
Never threw that, but the Katana was pretty sweet. They were off the market shortly after I started back.

How do you compare this to the IQ tour nano?

Snappier and requiring more precision and accuracy. Great piece though, overall!

Beautiful. It reminds me of the Brunswick 'Tude III even down to the color. The Attitude III split on me in three places after winning a tournament. I was devastated. Never have I found a ball with a color spill like it.

Can you tryout the Columbia 300 outlook pearl. Have you changed the surface as well? Thanks
@jaredfantle72974 жыл бұрын
This is an interesting piece from the Brunswick plant! This looks like a ball that allows hard conditions to become easier, but may give an inexperienced player trouble on house shots. The only ball that shares a similar description is the Roto Grip Wild Streak. I have a C300 Outlook (55x5x60) and it revs as early if not earlier than the Allure. It is just slightly more angular when you miss right. My ball speed/ RPMs ratio and ball roll is very similar to yours but I throw it 17-17.5 mph with around 400 RPMs. Even though I am a two hander, I can relate to and learn the most from your ball reviews!
@thefreeagentbowler43834 жыл бұрын
This is definitely an interesting piece, for sure. It can make things a lot tougher if you miss, no doubt. I've never thrown the Wild Streak, it just didn't seem like a match for me when it came out.
@BooyaCS4 жыл бұрын
The ball looks a bit sideways at the break, when I say sideways I mean fast response to friction. Hits friction goes left. Not a bad thing but can get over-under with that type of motion at times. The interesting question would be how would this ball be when you have to move left and open the lanes but you are crossing with another higher rev player and the heads are starting to get obliterated. My initial thoughts would be on lighter heads that the ball would pick up too early and not get far enough to the right. Hook early (much like a solid could).
@thefreeagentbowler43834 жыл бұрын
That's exactly right. If you're spotty at all, you're going to have to carefully navigate while using this piece. It is so angular and fast that it really can cause problems. There's been a handful of games where I haven't actually been able to get it out enough because it reads immediately. It's pretty low RG, so it will read earlier than many pieces out there.
@BooyaCS4 жыл бұрын
@@thefreeagentbowler4383 thanks for confirming. For my game I have next to 0 tilt so anything that is lower rg doesn't work unless it's a 6" pin to pap. However I wouldn't do that on anything symmetric because it wouldn't pick up. Look forward to the RIP Cord flight video. My PSO doesn't like that ball as much as he likes the Forge Fire.
@thefreeagentbowler43834 жыл бұрын
@@BooyaCS Forge Fire was weird for me. It was sometimes really slow coming out of the hook phase. Wouldn't finish very well, very often. I need to do a long term video on that one.

Good video. This ball reminds me of the Idol and what I mean is like you said if you have trouble with your speed it might do things you don't want. More for experienced players. Good knowledge 👌
@thefreeagentbowler43834 жыл бұрын
Absolutely true. This is a ball for people that really have experience in the game. For a newer bowler, to end up with this off the shelf, would be a frustrating ride, for sure.

Looks like speed is the key, with this one. Ripcord color reminded me of similar color, long time ago, in a distant galaxy..., and there was a purple one too. Storm beginnings?
@thefreeagentbowler43834 жыл бұрын
Brent Schmidt yeah, speed is absolutely critical with this ball. It really is. Well, that and angles. This thing is so damned angular it’s crazy.

Nice face reveal. Great review yet again and this ball appears to really drive off of spot. Excuse my french, but god damn thats beautiful when it makes the charge left. But the ball does appear to be over under at times. I think hitting it with a light 3000 by hand will relieve that and give it a bit smoother and consistent reaction. Aside from that, great review! Makes me wanna get one 🤣 On a different note, what balls do you have on order?
@thefreeagentbowler43834 жыл бұрын
Hey Froot! Good to see ya here. I've got a few coming, actually. The Electrify's are coming, I have some Lane Masters stuff (Pure Diamond & Blizzard Rush) and some other stuff as well! This ball is a really great ball, actually. The condition I was on was kind of spotty back there after some open play. But, overall, I do like it quite a lot.

I have this ball as well. I really enjoyed throwing it. Ended up giving it to a friend I’m trying to get into the sport. I replaced it with Brunswick Magnitude 035 pearl. Which I highly recommend.
@biggs21584 жыл бұрын
You NEVER want a ball that makes you feel like you’re bowling on a sport pattern when you’re not. The reason for having different equipment,to have one that helps you create more area for yourself. Judging from you review it sounds like you may need to crack the shine a little, that will help it roll a little more even for times when you say it’s speed sensitive. I think this will help with when you say you’re bowling on a sport pattern also, it’ll start up 1-2 feet earlier
@thefreeagentbowler43834 жыл бұрын
Biggs 215 this ball is very unique. And perhaps that wasn’t the best comparison to make. The point I was trying to make was that it requires accuracy. I actually really like this ball, quite a bit. I’ve seen some others throw it, and it seems the faster the speed, the higher the revs, the more crazy this thing gets. I haven’t messed with surface on this one yet. Although, on sport, doing so could certainly have some advantages.

If you have a problem hitting your mark. Problem maintaining your speed. Yoou do not need more bowling balls. You need to learn how to bowl.

I know some good bowlers who struggle because they regularly miss by large margins. I think it's just learning to hone in and how to aim, for some people.
