Well I hope it true, cause sometimes I feel like I can't go any further but I refuse to give up. I'm not allowed to give up. Single middle aged dad of three who promised them will do whatever it takes so they can have a better future. I love them and expect nothing back from them only for them to love me back and respect others. God bless

“ I heard it’s the wounds that people can’t see that hurt the most” I accidentally cut myself with my bestfriends pocket knife and there was so much blood but It didn’t hurt and first I was I was shaking bc it didn’t hurt and I was confused why it didn’t hurt and then I started crying all bc it didn’t hurt I didn’t know why it didn’t hurt and I still don’t know why it didn’t hurt and the fact that it didn’t hurt scared me the most and that’s why I was crying but if it anyone asked I would say oh I’m just scared of blood 🤷🏾‍♀️

this poem came on time yesterday on march 10 i was having a hard day cause i couldnt gfet my bipolar meds cause I have 50 cents in my bank account and had been off meds 24 hours and was angry...i took a walk to clear my head listening to two videos first was demi's i love me a whole bop then when that song ended I was on land yall. I was on my ancestors land and the minute i stepped foot on that land this poem came on and i recited to my ancestors dead and gone but still here...all the anger floated away

I can say I'm not doing well but I can't let that be the end of the sentence. It's too unbearable if it is. What would I do with all that silence? Instead, I do the work for them: I add the tone of a joke even though the content isn't, I promise I got it, I swear I can, I pretend to agree that I know I can. Having successfully assured and appeased and distracted them from my unsettling and inconvenient struggle, apologizing, I leave, struggling worse. Every performance is a spoon loan. It's worse than a student loan in that it's not even for you. I might be earning a BA to get that 'brain job', but my heart may never escape the customer service sector.
