As a legal scholar (masters in jurisprudence and doctoral candidate), the problem I have with your comment is, too many black men will take that comment and use it as a means to justify their wrong doings. The Washington Post also clarified what Kanye was saying as well. Kanye is correct that the 13th Amendment still allows for MODERN SLAVERY in America. I was unaware until Kanye tweeted about it.
