A humorous, naughty song sung appropriately humorously and naughtily, and with composer Lord Invader's Trinidadian lilt, all of which the Andrews Sisters seemed to miss. The Barberettes are the best.

Straight up PERFECTLY entertaining. I was sad that one of the girls decided to leave. But the show must go on. Go and find a third girl for your harmonies please. I've watched all the other videos featuring the 2 girls. The third voice is critical if you're not going to use the standard 4 voice. A duet is just not as exciting. Please reconsider adding a third girl. I love you girls and will still be following faithfully whatever you decide.

I agree. They had a sound, and a brand (time-slip girl group with three part harmony). Since Sohee Park left, the other two have tried to continue as a duet singing more modern pop songs and the magic isn't there. They don't look like they're having fun and now they're just another everyday duo with good voices. I do hope the girls read these comments. Please get a third girl (I can't find any clips of Sohee making music since she left the group to pursue new projects, so maybe she could be talked into coming back) and focus on what made you famous - old songs done better than ever before by three girls having the time of their lives.

What an entertaining and refreshing rendition of this great song. No one ever will beat the Andrews Sisters but this came very close. I will say this is a lot more fun to watch and I will again and again.

Kadshah, this song rum and coca cola is not an original song. It was popularized be the singers Andrew Sisters. However, rum and cola is a Calypso from Trinidad and sung and written my Calypsonian Lord Invader. He performed, sung and wrote the song. He never received the populariety, notoriety or the royalties for the song. This was case of many songs created by many foreign and African American artists during this era. Nevertheless, this rendition is well sung and performed. I love it. I am from Trinidad and my parents told me about this song as they lived during this era.

From Wikipedia: "After the release of 'Rum and Coca-Cola', [composer Lionel] Belasco and [lyricist] Lord Invader sued for copyright infringement of the song's music and lyrics, respectively. In 1948, after years of litigation, both plaintiffs won their cases, with Lord Invader receiving an award of $150,000 in owed royalties. However, [American song thief] Morey Amsterdam was allowed to retain copyright to the song. Lord Invader also wrote a follow-up song to 'Rum and Coca-Cola', titled 'Yankee Dollar'."
