BECAUSE YOU ARE AMHARA AND HAILE SELASSIE IS AMHARA THAT YOU LOVE HIM. HE WAS A DEVIL WHO KILLED ABOUT 50 - 100 MILLION PEOPLE THROUGHOUT ETHIOPIA DIRECTLY AND INDIRECTLY. TPLF, TIGREANS, AND MELES ZENAWI HAVE DONE SO MUCH DEVELOPMENT, CIVILIZATION, AND CARE FOR THE ETHIOPIAN PEOPLE. BUT, NO AMHARA WILL APPRECIATE TIGREANS FOR DEVELOPING ETHIOPIA. S***T.
It's truly inspiring to see the impact that His Majesty has had not just on Ethiopia or Africa, but on the entire black community. You too are brave and inspiring Yeshi by shedding light on the untold stories and challenging the misinformation that exists about our legends, Yeshi is not only honoring their legacy but also contributing to the empowerment of future generations. It's important to recognize the significant impact that individuals like His Majesty Haile Selassie, Emperor of Ethiopia have had not just on their own communities, but on entire groups of people. As Yeshi mentions, we should judge a person based on their entire body of work and lifetime achievements, and it's clear that her grandfather's (our king) contributions were vast and far-reaching. It's heartening to see Yeshi continuing this legacy and making a positive impact in her own way. You are such a humble soul Yeshi ✊

Very true!!! The Almighty God bless our country and people always!!!
It is impressive and informative interview. Princes Yeshi Kassa is beautiful inside and out. Emperor Hailesilassie was a great king who had done a lot good things for Ethiopia. My primary school was built by Princes Tenagne Worke and the name of the school was named "Le'elt Tenagne Worke", the Derg regime change the name of the school "Hibret". The two American women (producers) deserve appreciation and credit for their great job. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. Thank you Princes Yeshi and Helen for such wonderful and historical interview. Blessings!
Thank you Emebet Yeshi. I worked with your sister Kokeb, and I always respected her dedication, knowledge and commitment to Ethiopia. I miss talking to her. I’m so glad you shared this great milestone of our country’s history. Hope I’ll meet you one day when you come to Virginia. ❤

If I am not mistaken Woizero Yeshi' s father Dejazmach Kassa's family comes from Wellega (Oromia) and Woizero Yeshi's aunt in law Princess Sara Gizaw's family comes from Maichew (Tigrai) .This was the noble legacy of Emperor Haileselase that focused in bringing assimilation to Ethiopians through marriage . The end of that beautiful legacy unfortunately brought monsters to power and that land is fragmented into pieces and is in blaze for almost 50 years. A cursed land
@marthabekele2138 Жыл бұрын
Indeed knowledge is power .All Kings done similar scenario to started with their own family members keep Ethiopian together intwined by marriage economically socially financially forever🎉 I believe also even when elected government official transcript all directions of Ethiopia not by where born in regins or language spoken . Ethiopian always were ahead of their time always have run Ethiopian with equally important that we see in the US and European countries now.. their strategy were all throughput... international diplomacy etc...

True .The royal family has a mixed heritage. But politicians especially the TPLF falsfied Ethiopian history and depicted the royal family are all Amhara to fulfill their ethnic agenda.
@menelikjanhoy2053 Жыл бұрын
@@abuhaile6517 absolutely Meles was the architect for all evil division in Ethiopia. The Emperor was trying to establish a miniature Ethiopia comprising all within the palace as I said earlier consecutive demons that grabbed power derailed the country from unity.

Sis Helen! I'm always impressed by ur presentation which has journalism attics & our Ethiopian culture which has due respect for all human & etc..! In addition ur full of smile till z end of ur show! It's a GREAT talent keep it up!......
I wish emperor would governed this generation... the majesty had been trying to keep the union of Ethiopian, the culture, dignity of Ethiopian....sadly now we become enemies each other. GOD BLESS ALL MAJESTY FAMILY! WE HAVE BIG RESPECT FOR YOU! MY GRAND PARENTS ALWAYS TOLD US HOW BRAVE, KIND THE MPEROR WAS. I think when I see all the embarrassing situation In ethiopia I just go back many years ago and how an admirable Emporer government style. And I think we pay for that now as we don't know the precious value of the Emporer Empire. GOD GIVES LONG HEALTH LIFE FOR MAJESTY FAMILY 👪🙏
It is so surprising every time when I meet older Americans who are in the age of 70s and older and tells them that I am an Ethiopian, most says, “Yes, I remember The King Hailesellassie when he came to the State, we came out to greet him”, or they would tell me, “we saw him passing b”…etc. even older Jamaican and Caribbeans, never have they forgotten that day in their memory and the impact he had on them but for the younger generation, the name HaileSellasie does not ring a bell to them, even to young Ethiopians. Hopefully, this documentary will make some kind of awareness of HIM’s contribution or who he was, of one of the greatest influential King of Africa.

Thank you ወይዘሮ Yeshi for sharing your family story. As much as it is your family story this documentary film is ours too! So we thank all of you in this panel for your collaboration to make this film and shade light on the story that was buried and forgotten for some time. I haven't seen the film yet but planning to see it soon. I know it is going to be very challenging to watch as that era was a difficult time for many Ethiopians because we also lost siblings to the Red Terror and family members as a result of the barbaric executions of 60 government officials by Mengestu Hailemariam in one night!
