They're not buying it because the French offered them a bung. The Rafale is a decent plane but Eurofighter is a class above. It's also bloody loud, as one is passing over my house at this moment and I can't hear my laptop!!

The old Tornados make a proper noise. Eurofighter is really quiet in comparison. When the Tornados did their low flight training over my home the windows rattled, but no such luck when the Eurofighter came into service.
