That was awesome, Leah. God really works on us mysteriously. That was a very articulate presentation of an intricate way a non believer understood the existence of God. But you presented it in a way that is easy to grasp. Welcome home, sister! May God always be your debating partner. I'm already aching to read a book written by you.

It may sound 'sappy' to some but her talking to God about the true, good, & beautiful in the Riemann hypothesis; isn't this great, don't You think so? yeah, me too; touches my heart. That whole part regarding building up the idea that God actually reaches down to us to talk to our hearts and is interested in what we are interested, also. But sad for me, I wasn't listening to God nearly enough, but rationalizing my situation and actions. Learning how much God loves me; and always sought me out no matter what; does bring joyous tears to my heart. One time on my journey; I was deep in meditation for quite some time; I felt God's Presence; but when I realized I needed to know what time it was; I just thought or blurted out; I can't remember which - and I sensed God chuckling, saying to my heart, "what do you think IAM, your secretary?" Maybe it was my imagination; but I don't think I thought God would joke with me. It took me a long time to truly believe it. My story is way different than hers; even after being Confirmed at 35; feeling devout; praying with others; being involved with Pro Life (still am, very close to my heart); I rationalized the way I live, over and over and over --- for over twenty years due to be addicted to striving for acceptance & being loved so much I would rationalize my relationship. It really wasn't until Divine Mercy this year and since that God has given me the Grace of confidence by Jesus Christ not to rationalize serious sin. (Like, God understands my situation; I got myself into this relationship and it is too complicated to change. A lot more complicated than that but Providence found a way.) Thank God for God's InExhaustible Mercy and seeking out everyone no matter how distant who will by Grace turn back to God!

Leah hs come finally to the right place. The Catholic Church is criticized, ridiculed, given so many names by so many Christian denominations n innumerable pastors. The Catholic Church is the only authoritative body, who can act in the name of Christ. Christ gave authority to His desciples to build, reform, change, forgive n retain. Christ empowered the apostles to carry on in the world His work of Salvation. The pastors, though they bring Jesus known to many, do certain things without any authority from above.

How do ALL CATHOLICS BECOME ONE CHURCH, ONE BODY, ONE BRIDE, ONE TEMPLE??? What if you remain a non-partaker Protestant John 6:53??? Now, 1 Corinthians 10:16-17. What ONE SACRIFICE do all Catholics "participate in" and what are the effects for the many and what do we all BECOME per verse 17??? How does this "match" the old covenant passover and what Jews were REQUIRED per Exodus 12:5-8 to EAT for "Death to Passover"??? Jesus Christ is the "Lamb of God" (John 1:29, 1 Corinthians 5:7, 1 Peter 1:19) and tells you what to EAT and DRINK in every synoptic Gospel account of the "Last Supper" as He was celebrating and transforming the Exodus 12:14 "forever" GOD commanded Passover into the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19-20). How does that "match" John 6:54-58 that is all said in CONTEXT of the Passover (John 6:4) and what the "Lamb of God" says to EAT and DRINK in every synoptic Gospel account of the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER transformation (Luke 22:19-20)??? How does this "match" what EVERY EARLY CHURCH FATHER AND EVERY SINGLE CHRISTIAN BELIEVED FOR THE FIRST 1500 YEARS OF CHRISTIANITY before satan's little minion Martin Luther came along??? www.therealpresence.org/eucharst/father/a5.html Please list out FULLY 1 Corinthians 10:16-17 telling me what Catholics "participate in" and the effects per verse 17??? Secondly, can mere "symbolism" found absolutely no where in the Bible do that???

Nena Christians all belong to the one Catholic(universal) church .The Roman church is not the true church ,it was corrupted by false teachers of the Pagan Roman state .CONSTANTINE for example changed the first day of the week to the day of the Sun and Christmas to the birth of the Sun god that he still worshipped. His so called conversion story was made up later as there are only pagan pictures on his arch in Rome .He used the church to try to unite the Empire and built the first St.Peters.The true believers fled Rome and moved to the Alps as the new Roman church started to persecute them ,later sending soldiers to hunt them down and kill them, wherever they were found .Look at the true history of the Popes , murderers ,adulterers ,sometimes several claiming to be Pope at the same time and fighting each other .It was all about politics position and greed.More recently have you seen the video on KZbin BBC. Our world 2014 Ireland's hidden bodies hidden secrets.

"The Roman church is not the true church ,it was corrupted by false teachers of the Pagan Roman state .CONSTANTINE" If true (which it isn't and you won't find a single expert on this that agrees with you) then your bible is corrupt and not true because it wasn't compiled until long after Constantine. "for example changed the first day of the week to the day of the Sun and Christmas to the birth of the Sun god that he still worshipped" False history. Why are you repeating the claims of people who are atheists and protestant who hate the church and have been proven wrong by experts in the field over 100 years ago? "The true believers fled Rome " If true then why do you trust your bible? The bible was written, compiled and canonized by the Catholic church. The fact of the matter is your history isn't credible and neither are your beliefs insofar as they disagree with the Catholic church. Its a simple test. Go to the writings of the early church fathers and see if you find them teaching your protestant beliefs. Don't go to protestants to find out what Catholics believe but simply go to Catholic sources and original sources. If you do then you will find things like this: Ignatius of Antioch - disciple of the Apostle John and successor to Peter in Antioch On the church Jesus founded" "See that you all follow the bishop, even as Jesus Christ does the Father, and the presbytery as you would the apostles; and reverence the deacons, as being the institution of God. Let no man do anything connected with the Church without the bishop. Let that be deemed a proper Eucharist, which is administered either by the bishop, or by one to whom he has entrusted it. Wherever the bishop shall appear, there let the multitude of the people also be; even as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church." -Letter to the Smyrnaeans, Ch 8 On the Eucharist: "Take note of those who hold heterodox opinions on the grace of Jesus Christ which has come to us, and see how contrary their opinions are to the mind of God… They abstain from the Eucharist and from prayer, because they do not confess that the Eucharist is the Flesh of our Savior Jesus Christ, Flesh which suffered for our sins and which the Father, in his goodness, raised up again. They who deny the gift of God are perishing in their disputes." -Letter to the Smyrnaeans, Ch 6 On the church in Rome: "to the Church wich also holds the presidency in the place of the country of the Romans, worthy of God, worthy of honor, worthy of blessing, worthy of praise, worthy of success, worthy of sanctification, and because you hold the presidency of love, named after Christ and named after the Father; here therefore do I salute in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father." -Letter to the Romans, Intro He knew the apostles and his teachings match all the other men trained by the apostles. I'll bet you can't find one single instance of an early father teaching Protestant beliefs. Why is that?

@@tysonguess YOUR COMMENTS ARE BASED ON R.C. TEACHING AND NOT HISTORY . THE BIBLE WAS ON SCROLLS AND COMPLETE AS SOON AS IT WAS WRITTEN .EVEN JUSTIN MARTYR DECRIBES A CHURCH MEETING SAYING THEY READ FROM THE MEMOIRES OF THE APOSTLES i.e. NEW TEST .STILL ON SCROLLS . DON'T YOU KNOW THEY WERE HAND COPIED AND SENT ALL OVER THE ROMAN EMPIRE BEFORE ROME DECIDED TO ADD ON THE UNINSPIRED APOCRYPHA AND FORM A BOOK. EACH CHURCH HAD IT'S OWN ELDERS/BISHOPS . AT NO TIME DID ANYONE SAY ROME RULED .THEN IT JOINED THE PAGAN STATE BY BECOMING THE STATE RELIGION .DON'T SAY ALL THE PAGANS SUDDENLY WERE TRUE CONVERTS.

This conversion account is to me as intellectually profound as St Augustine's Confessions and Blessed John Henry Newman's Apologia pro Vita Sua. Indeed, to arrive at magisterial Catholicism logically through meta-ethics is a first in my experience, which feels like a mental immersion in fractal structures that smell of your favourite flowers as they dance in time with a Rachmaninoff Concerto. And I'm totally not a feeling type!

A truly inspirational presentation of the path from logic & ethics to religion, Christianity, Catholicism and God. I learned much and agreed with all I learned. I have never considered the search for God through a logical process - a fundamentally intellectual approach. Thank you for that! However, I disagree with a couple of your statements on Math. I have no problem with the conception of the number 2 (or any number) irrespective of any physical connection. For me numbers are beings of their properties, and incidentally have physical applications or connections. Your other proposition about math which with I disagree is that Math always leads to logical outcomes. Certainly this is not true: there are many valid derivations (for instance in number theory) that can lead to directly contradictory conclusions depending on the particular approach - most dramatically between the finite and the infinite. For example, in the details of constructing the bounds of the complex plane for the Riemann hypothesis. There are many much simpler examples.

merciful to those who believe in his mercy and just to those who don't ... if you believe that Jesus came down to earth and died on the cross and then resurrect it means you believe in his act of mercy it means you accept his sacrifice it means you have abolished his justice by giving it the sacrifice of Jesus ... so you can be judged mercifully ... i can explain in an easier way but its less informative ... hope it helped :D

Sounds like Madison was jealous of you being "nice", and probably you had a reputation as a "good girl" that she wanted to pull down, by unmasking you for the horrible person she thought you must be underneath your squeaky clean image. So she tried to provoke you into losing your temper. Nasty people hate kind people because you shine a light on their meanness. Goodness makes a person attractive, regardless of their physical traits, meanness makes people unattractive, hence mean people will always become self conscious and worry that others are comparing them to this loving person they are sitting next to. They make themselves feel better about their selfishness, by telling themselves that so is everyone else, it's just that some people pretend not to be. I find it much easier to deal with people when I understand how they think. Also it's harder for them to manipulate you. My whole life has been a history of people trying to control and manipulate me. Ironically, all Madison achieved was making herself look even more mean.

Morality deals with the separation between good and not good... good conscience however implies that not good can also be converted to good...

Well lol- not a strong Catholic then, if a short, talkative mathematician lady on KZbin with a particular thinking style can throw you completely off your game😶

What a sad woman, seems intelligent, believes fairy tales and nonsense, and is proud of it.

Did she seem sad to you? Quite the contrary. She's actually glowing! And you've got the other two right, she's really intelligent and proud! (Which is something I can't say of you, if your comment is any indication.)

What a load of twaddle....peer group pressure, and a total word salad of a talk. However one can clearly see the psychological benefits of religious beliefs by her being so gleeful...

She is gleeful because her heart, like a billion others , has experieinced the reality of God's presence. May He enlighten you to see Him and taste the reality of His grace.

This just goes to show you, it doesn't matter by what flawed or outrageous means you arrived at Christianity, they will take you as long as you say you are Christian. The lack of critical thinking and the total lack of appreciation for valid logical argumentation is disgusting. Intellectually and scientifically bankrupt.

Gotta love seeing atheists getting hysterical over someone rejecting their materialistic superstition and claiming to have anything to do with logic.

Catholics are not Christians. They are Satan worshipers who are too stupid to know it.

Tiberius, what an appropriate name for you. Tiberius the Roman emperor, known as the gloomiest of men, was the stepson of Augustus, grand-uncle of Caligula.... hmm

I am sorry you reject the testimony of billions who have experienced the grace of God. You don't see it because you are not pure in heart. Seek and shall find. Jesus is real.
