Weirdest thing about everything EC3 in WWE is if anyone ever fit the mold of what McMahon loves it's this guy. Big, tall, totally jacked guy that kills on the mic and has a great character. Is he a virtuoso in the ring, maybe not, but he's good enough and ultimately work rate is like a bottom of the list requirement for being a WWE Superstar

You remember all the bullshit we had to put up with that charisma vaccum Baron Corbin when he was getting an absurdly big push in 2018-2019? Swap out him with EC3 and I guarantee you it goes over better. You need someone good on the mic for the heel GM gimmick, so that role would've fit him like a glove. And he'd probably be giving folks better matches too; in fact I think folks would've been less upset with him retiring Angle, and Seth's early Universal title reign would've been received better with matches against EC3 instead of Corbin. Hell, even NOW he'd be a better Corbin that Corbin; it's much more in line with his character to go from riches to rags.

WWE dropped the ball on him. Even Jon Moxley admitted it and made it as an example of WWE’s creative team poor treatment on talents. @@rleonardgreen78 Jon Moxley is a Political Shark in the Wrestling Business but I guess you have to be when dealing with Bigger Wrestling Companies like WWE & AEW. Not everyone is Political, but the Majority of the Top Stars are. That is the Reality unfortunately, Vince is the Biggest Politician out of all the Wrestling Promoters going as far back as 1984 when he tried to kill JCP’s business but ended up failing the first time. Vince has been playing Politics since he bought his Dad’s Company over 38 years ago, but it really started on a National Scale by killing JCP off in 1987/88. Vince and Politics fit like an Evil Glove, Jon Moxley is a Wild Deathmatch Lunatic who doesn’t care about rules which is stupid*. Wrestling is meant to have Structure and Some Rules otherwise it would just be like GCW and Promotions like PWG imo. The only reasons WWF survived past 1997, was because of ECW injecting “Attitude” into the WWF and WCW beating Raw for 18 months on the MNW before Vince finally had to stop doing the Stupid Cartoon Gimmicks and actual make Wrestling Somewhat More Serious and Reality based albeit for a 3-4 year period. Gimmicks were still a thing back then but more based in reality from 1998-2001 in the Attitude Era. WWE has been declining since all of his stupid rules started coming in after ending the RA Era back in 2008. The last memorable and excellent PPV’s in the Early PG Era were No Mercy 2008, Royal Rumble 2009, No Way Out 2009, Backlash 2009, Extreme Rules 2009, Night of Champions 2009, SummerSlam 2009, TLC 2009, Royal Rumble 2010, WM 26(Shawn Michael’s Official Retirement from WWE as a active Wrestler/Superstar longterm), Extreme Rules 2010, Over The Limit 2010(Batista’s last PPV in his first WWE Run), TLC 2010(Overlooked too, Edge’s last World Title Win was at this PPV), MITB 2011, Night of Champions 2011(Mark Henry’s only WHC Win Ever), Survivor Series 2011, TLC 2011 & Maybe Some WWE PPV’s In 2012? The point is some/most of the PPVs in WWE are still good in 2021 but the Weekly Booking of the Main Shows and Storylines are horribly bad(except Edge vs Rollins and The Main Event Storyline’s). *The Jon Moxley Point Argument ends here.
