XUV 700 Problems Owner Review | Episode 3

does it has suspension issues, wanna buy 700 but lacking by here the suspension problem. Or any major practical problem?

Going by what the owner has to say 1) XUV 7OO suspension being on the stiffer side, city drive over potholes and uneven surface is a problem, however, the SUV s quite happy on the Highway 2) Suspension noise from front side is there, but that probably needs just a service station to correct it

So many such complaints from many top trim (AX8) Luxury owners, those who invested Rs.31.16 Lacs on-road in KERALA, after a waiting period of approx. 6-9 months to get delivery.

I think, most of us buy cars/suv's without understanding the fit of the same with our needs from it and then we all complaint about them. Cars/suv just like human being are not going to be 100% perfect, they will all come with their set of good and bad points. Once we map our needs with the car/suv we buy then most of issues will get resolved automatically because we will then buy the one which suits us the most and not the one which is current flavour of the month.

Whilst the problems enumerated by the owner seems one too many, however, his belief is that they are basic gen 1 niggles which improve with time as it happened with his XUV 500

The owner should remove the bull bar from the rear of the car as it can be dangerous

Curious, why is it dangerous?

@@alakhraghuvanshi9393 it is dangerous not for this car but for any other vehicle or person if they get hit by it, anyways supreme court had banned it.

Whilst, I am not aware about the SC ban, however, hitting anyone from the back is actually considered to be the mistake of the driver of the car which banged into the vehicle. There are traffic rules which states the distance that one needs to keep between two vehicles, which unfortunately is not followed at all. Basically, my question is so to how the driver of the car in the car in the front would be able to avert the rear bang.

@@ecardlr it was banned by ministry of road and transport highway.

Hi Joyroop, Appreciate your attention to detail and the concern. The bull bars in the front are banned since they prevent the airbags from getting deployed and also there are crumble zones for pedestrian safety. Rear bull cars however enhance the safety from people who are used to take bumper to bumper quite literally (read some bike riders and autos). For any safe car, hitting the bumper at a speed of >45Kmph will get the airbags deployed. For a car which doesn’t have the airbags, it will be just like hitting any object with the relative velocity at that time. So, it protects my car and also does not damage others cars. So, all in all a good investment according to me. 🙂
