@@ecardlr In 2020 and with BS6, many more negative points to be added: missing features like push button start, keyless entry, automatic headlights, automatic holding mirrors, rear USB port, projector LED headlamps, LED DRLs, rear door bottle holders and most important reverse camera, which is available even in a 5L car today!! Ford, Hyundai and Kia too have powerful turbo engines and/or DCT gearbox in similar price territory

I own a Vento TSI, same engine and gearbox as yours...I generally spend about 9000 per service. Car is 2015. No major issues. Done about 51000 km. Fantastic mileage,I get about 12 in city and 16 on highway. I a short guy, 5' 6" and I have the same of left knee touching . Btw, I owned a Baleno old model.

20 to 25k for a service seems a lot , also there's an slight update on the exterior of the new polo GT , it gets a new GTi grill and bumpers , u could probably get those changed and get the new vento headlights with DRLS , could get the roof wrapped in black and get black rims ,Ur car would look neat n updated or just wait until the next gen polo is launched, btw I own a polo GT TDI and it's no slouch , my friend who drives a Audi A4 (2014) says the ride and handling is as good as his car. Vw make great cars but need to improve with their service costs and network in India. Anyway good review , very well articulated. Expecting more reviews , thanks guys

I have heard similar numbers from friends on service That's what he also says VW does cosmetic changes like; new grille, new headlamps, small bumper changes , roof tap 3M film etc etc, what the car needs are not incremental but geometric changes Yes, you are absolutely right, Polo's as a breed are not slouchy nor laggards.

What is he saying ? The suspension is not good ? I’ve done one heck of a trip in Chikmagalur in the slush and never has the car bottomed out. The reason why it handles so well is because of the suspension. It is made for the normal people and hence is soft yet such a pleasure to drive. You guys should drive the gti with the same chassis but man are the suspensions stiff. When you drive a gti, you’ll know there’s much more to this car. The only downside to this car is expensive services if not taken care and the rear leg room when compared to the other cars.

The guy is damn good. The design cues detailing was pretty awesome. I really appreciate the guy's enthusiasm. despite of being in a 6'2 frame, the pure adrenaline rush of a keen driver pushes him ahead. Spot on on every aspect of the car. Though I didn't like some of the scores he had given, well then again that's his opinion. Nicely wrapped around.

Excellent review I liked the way he described the design part...I also liked when he compared it to legendary RX100 I as an architect has a same perception (design wise) for this wonderful machine! You really have to have that taste and love for cars to own such a car!

What you say about suspension might be right, but our other POLO GT review I felt the suspension to be hard for rear seat passenger

I so badly wanted to get a Polo GT TSI when I was replacing my Wagon R. Polo has always been my crush. But the DQ200 kept me away from the TSI. Then wanted the GT TDI, which was again rejected by my family because the car was too cramped (I am 6'2) and the rear occupants were really uncomfortable. Ended up getting a Verna Sx(O) Petrol although we already have a C-Segment Ciaz. I still love the GT TSI. But it is impractical.
