11:29 One of the hardest things when I went to Greece, was meeting all the sweet, homeless animals. I had this dog follow me around on this Greek island, and every time I would stop he would lean in to my legs and almost guard me. It was heartbreaking having to leave him there. I wanted nothing more than to be like "Okay, you're my dog now! Come on! Back to America!". But I was actually there as a student ambassador, and still had to go to France. There would've been no way of me getting this dog back on to American soil.

Zahra Idigo Your comment only showed in my notifications. Yes, we have strays here, but we also have animal rescue organizations. Good point about Christians in the area not taking in the dogs. I was under the impression that Egypt was a majority Muslim country. I know Coptic Christians who have fled Egypt due to persecution. I also know several Muslim people who have told me they don't keep dogs as pets because they are dirty and carry germs. Ironically, they have pet cats, which can carry more diseases than dogs. I don't think Muslims are monsters. I know many Muslims and live in a ethnically mixed neighborhood. I was just stating Muslims won't touch dogs because the Quran says not to.
