@William Stroud I use a clutch x with a mid-low pattern that I got from Greg, and my shooter setup is 2 straights with a nylon stacked on the top shooter. Butter-smooth release with great feel for the ball!

No, it doesn't effect goalies. Like Greg said in the video, it doesn't matter that u's were taken away. Create a tighter channel with knots and si's. There are also variants of u's that you might be able to do.

Greg, for Theory Thursday, could you explain why you now use shooting laces as your bottom string? You used to use sidewall as your bottom string, but recently I've noticed you have put shooting laces as your bottom string such as the Surgeon 10 500. It would be great if could explain the benefits (If there is any) of using shooting lace.

I've been looking for a new shooter setup setup for my head and I decided to do the Matt kavanaugh setup. Unfortunately I can't seem to figure out how to string it properly.
