This video will show how to add integral control to state variable feedback in order to get zero steady-state error. It will also show how to create estimated state variable feedback and a fully integrated type 1 system.

No the scaler that you multiply the input by to get rid of steady state error is not the same as the integrator, that is a pre-filter and it could also be used to get rid of steady-state error but may not adjust for changes in the system because it is not part of the feedback loop.ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/7814965 people.kth.se/~demirel/ACMM/L03.pdf
