Do you have any tips for making them grow straight because I hade to take it inside due to the cold weather and I plan on planting it outside in the late spring so it will have the maximum amount of time to grow in the warmth because this is the first one I am growing nice video by the way 😁👍

Thank you for your comment, I live in Watford UK they don't like to grow straight they grow fast then fall and grow an elbow!! Straight is difficult or you could tie them to a stake might work..

I love echiums, you're right about having them for life once you get them to flower. I've just today sold a clump of seedlings as I've got more than i know what to do with 😂

Thank you. 😊 My three are looking the same, I almost thought that they were dying off. I bought some seeds back from Tenerife back in 1986 and in the summer of 87 my dad grew a monster from one of those seeds. It grew to about 7ft in the first year and was covered in flowers. Sadly it didn't survive the winter. From everything that I've read they are not supposed to flower in the first year but this one did.

@@OurEnglishTropicalGarden I've put them in 14" larger pots now after watching your video and they are looking so much healthier and happier now out in the garden especially with the warmer weather 😊

Hi, how long have you been growing Echium? I just bought some seeds off eBay.

Hi Naruz thanks for watching my video, I live near London UK and have been growing Echium for about 10 years for me they are easy to grow in the Summer but difficult to get through the Winter as they don't like too much frost and don't like being inside either however if you can get one to flower you will have them forever as little one's keep popping up all over my garden.
