Was in between these 2 blowers for the longest time. Finally just pulled the trigger on the 9010T! After a little bit of research everyone says it’s the better option and I couldn’t agree more. Definitely out performs the 8550’s I was using.

The 9010T is a beautiful blower. RedMax has gone cheap in how they make their products!

At the 12:12 mark in the video, this is where I love having the ability to shorten the tube to clear the tight corners and blow straight down if needed. Does the Shindaiwa version offer that feature as it is basically the same blower as the echo.

I still love the echo 770 light comfortable compact easy to start in the cold. We charge out customers by the hour for leaf cleanup so the 770 is adequate to do a professional job but at the same time not too fast ifyaknowwhatimean

Same. I like the echo too and I run an older redmax 8500. Looking forward to owning a 8600 and I’ll pick up an echo just to have for heavy wet leaves like this but overall redmax or husqvarna is awesome.

@EDLawnCare

The 9010T outperforms the 8560 by 100 CFM. But the overall design of the 9010T is way more beefier and not as cheaply built as the 8560. I think RedMax has gone downhill recently and are being cheap with how they build their products. I have nothing bad to say about the 8560. It’s still a solid blower.

shave 15% off the time by not blowing all of em at once, skim the top dry leaves off first. make a second pass for the wetter leaves. once you mix the dry and wet together, they're all weighted down. harder you have to blow it, the more crap gets mixt in. all sticks, dirt. making it even heavier. you'l be surprised how much faster it goes. i do 3 pass. but fast as fuk lol.. other wise i'd take forever. but 25 years doing cleanups..i do not want to sit on a job for 3 and take the time as for 1. usuassly on par with a 3 man crew. often much faster. thats 25 years for ya lol.. i use a hand held Echo on my left forarm. second season now with doing that, took another 20% time off my clock. i make my own blower tips to help me have precise control over the air. in other words, i don't have to rotate my whole body hardly at all. the tips project the leaves where i want em to go. using two blowers at once now, they compliment each other real nice. the tips aimed inwards slightly towards each other, they feed the leaves into a solid straight path forward. the original tips suck ass btw guys. first thing i do to a new blower is either cut a fast V at the top of the hose hole or make a fast tip for it. check that out sometime. just typing a sheet of plastic to the tip, that curvs the tip off into a peak at the bottom, while the top is more open, the air hits at the bottom, harder. adding a nice bit of force to clean better. while the top being open, exspands the leaves upward so the rest of the air flow and blow them forward. once you get playing around with that, you'l see what its doing and can make adjustments. its well...well well worth the 10 minutes to attach a custom made tip to the nosel. you won't be battling getting leaves out of corners anymore...like what so ever. the change of air direction from the tip hits them the way you try do it with your body. saves you alot of screwing around in corner sinerios. my 8500 is getting beat up at 8 years old now. had me going to the site to see if by chance they put out an upgrade. to see that they did was frikn awesome lol...im drolling over that 8560 now lol the speed bump is going to be badass...just a 10mph difference is notable. when they had the 8500 up, and in 2016, stihl put out the 700. it was a solid match up. only diff was the speed. i couldn't pinpoint what seemed to better about the Max. then i realized...the br700 had 10 mph less speed at 195 i believe. the Max8500 had 205. that was what i was feeling. it hits harder. so if got a pile your working, it tears through the pile easier than 195 mph does. i can cut a clean 12 inch path down a 6 foot high pile and walk right through it with the Max.. thats from the speed. not the cmf's. adding to that is my custom tip...the bullet tips allow for too much expansion so you get alot of over blow to the right and left...when most of the time you want the leaves to go forward as much as possible. that where my tips comes in yet again. i probably shoot leaves another 2 feet further than the original tip design because of that custom tip i love doing leaves btw. its only way one person can do it themselves for over 2 decades lmao i was a gym buff growing up then working got me doing laboris stuff. leave cleanup is mindless sorta work. just go fast as fuk the whole time and make it a workout and competitive game with yourselve. that was my thing that got me through jobs that were fukn insane for even 3 man crew...let alone by yourselve. big ass cleans make people walk off the job rather common lol so i needed a stratigy and so that was mine...fast as fuk. no breaks. no slowing down. full speed til the job is done. breaks allow you to feel the beating so just don't take any lol anyways.. im a novel writing at times so pardon that lol thats neat to see a 8560 in action. the exxtra 15 mph bump ontop the 95 cmf bump it has over the 8500 will be pretty dam noticable for me. im excite to get my mitts on that bad boy...fuk the 9010 though. Echo hasn't won me over yet lol
