I have an Echo CS-310, found this video as my purge valve has also developed a small hole. Still runs but want to address it. I have used a LOT of chainsaws and currently own the Echo CS-310 and a Stihl Farmboss. The Echo Ive had many many years and it always just runs and works and since its lightweight I tend to grab it for almost everything and only use the Farmboss on felling big trees and cutting firewood. This little Echo is just a workhorse of a chainsaw. You cant go wrong with one of them.

Nice! I really like echos. The lesser known saw out of the three

I looked this up because my mother needed to know how to get the bulb out. I'm not getting yelled at because it took ten minutes to get TO that information. 10/10, very informative, too bad the advertised information needed to wait until a carburator cleaning..

Thanks for this vid. Went to start mine recently and got a squirt in the eye. I've had this lil Echo CS-310 like in the vid for at least 10 years. Great saw. Accidentally backed over it with my 30HP tractor one time. Didn't do any damage that I could tell. Tough lil bugger! d:^)

This should be helpful in replacing the purge pump on my CS310, but seeing the process of putting it back together would have been nice.

Good tip. I’ll keep that in mind on the next one
