Echo CS2511t - Part 3, quick muffler mod.

My version of the muffler mod on the 2511t!

Should have taken the muffler off and give it a good rinse on the inside. One metal shaving getting into the cylinder can be enough to screw it up.

The only reason your cylinder didn’t fill up with metal shavings is because you didn’t drill through the centre wall of the muffler,if you take the muffler off then drill through second wall also it will perform way better than just drilling outer hole

To who ever that may watch this take the muffler off the saw before modding it all it takes to ruin the piston an cylinder is one metal shaving as the saw runs it will pull any shavings that are in the muffler inside the cylinder

i bought a running 026 with 2 muffler screws that had come loose in the muffler rattling around lol.... it was idling super high ...basically running instead of idling... got it home played with the screws on the carb and installed the muffler screws and got it running like new. I had no understanding of how carbes even worked at the time. dumb luck. all that to say the screws never made it into the engine

Thanks for the video, it would have been good to see the saw running before & after the exhaust mod....but that's another whole load of video-ing! :)
