There is more than enough music without Copyright that could be played if you wanted to. Every Video with speakers play music on them.

the 3rd gen has 7 mics but only 4 in the 4th gen. Tests also show the 3rd gen is more responsive to commands . Reduce the bass volume by ~25-50% ( depending on the overall volume level) in the 3rd gen and you'll get punchy bass.

Picked up a refurbished 4th gen premium for $49 on Amazon. Get them before they sell out!

3rd gen for the win if using paired alongside the sub, 4th gen doesn't play well with the sub

"Kinda weird" is right! What were they thinking, the 3rd gen looks so much better

Have you noticed any connectivity issues? I have a Gen 2 that I'm constantly having issues with. I've done anything and everything to get it to work properly.. but as soon as I fix it I have a problem again the next day. Especially when I try to stereo pair them. I'm considering buying a Gen 3, because I can get it for $74.99. Though I'm not sure if buying a newer echo would really help with that. I'm having issues with my Google Nest Mini's too, so I'm just frustrated.

Connectivity to your phone?
@Nmarryat243 жыл бұрын
@@MatthewBaxter2010 Not quite. More like connectivity to each other. I'll reset the WiFi, edit the firewall settings of the router, reset everything, delete/reinstall, etc. and the two Echo devices don't recognize each other. It's like a 1 in 30 try that I get them to recognize they're both on the same network and stereo pair, but even when I manage it they stop cooperating within the next day or two. Same issue occurs when I disconnect and attempt to reconnect them. It's a cycle that results in me using all of my patience to not throw them into a wall. It's really quite awful. As far as the Nest's are concerned... same deal, except they'll connect to my WiFi but tell me they can't sync with the phone. "The Local Network on your device isn't on, turn it on and retry." Which isn't the case. Then when I reset my Network Settings, configurations, the whole nine... nothing. I've ultimately just given up on the cause.

Are your Alexa's the same generation? Also, I know with the older Amazon Alexas they did have some issues with stereo pairing but with the Gen 3 it was solved. You've checked for software updates and all right? The Google Home, I know you have to pair them together as a stereo pair within the app itself, it doesn't automatically pair as a stereo pair. Sorry if I'm not understanding the issue.

I'll look into this more and see what I can find out.

For the Alexa’s: they are the same generation, yes. They’re both Gen 2’s. As far as I know the software is up to date. For the Google’s: it’s a separate issue. I’m not trying to stereo pair those, I’m just trying to get them to function again. Apparently I had a blip in my WiFi one night last week so everything got disconnected. I haven’t been able to get them to reconnect since. It’s all good! I appreciate your replies.
