Have a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year and keep on inspiring us with your lovely cards!🎅🏻🎄🎁

A new video already - I feel spoiled! :)) I actually started re-watching your previous 4 Christmas cards videos. And I slowly started doing cards again. I will try using your sketches as inspiration (even though I struggle with following sketches).
@LilCraftyNook7 жыл бұрын
sophyamary I have trouble with following anything,(I feel like I have to get it "right") but by the same token, sketches make it quicker. I can always embellish them to make them my own. I found out that I can get away with a more dimension and embellishment than I thought before postage goes up!
@sophyamary7 жыл бұрын
Nikki Hensley Thank you, Nikki, for your suggestions! :) I said to myself that next time when I will do cards, I will follow the sketches no matter what bcs otherwise I won't be using the paper pads and scraps I have. I would love to be able to buy the same paper pads, but since I'm from Europe it's a bit too costly for me at the moment.
@KristieMarcotte7 жыл бұрын
sophyamary I’ve been super busy making cards lately, trying to get them done before the holidays. Card sketches are not for everyone. And that’s okay. Some people simply use them as a starting point, then change them up to fit their own style. Others follow sketches exactly. There is no right or wrong way, just find what works best for you. 🙂
@KristieMarcotte7 жыл бұрын
Nikki Hensley Sketches are great and can be super useful when you’re stuck or lost on ideas. 🙂 I agree with adding your own touches to reflect your own style. I still get nervous with adding much dimension for mailing though since I’ve had cards returned to me in the past.
