Man today i finished a report over the battles of the first and third crusades and this makes me feel like a pretorian templar knight lost in my own world holding a bloodied and broken sword with fire everywhere and struggling to stand
@Twizted867 ай бұрын
Weren't the Praetorian Guard Roman? Templars didn't exist for another 1000 years.. I know you said lost in your own world, but c'mon you just wrote a report on the crusades, you know full well Romans were out of the picture.. Also you're obviously against Israel if you're a templar they were protectors of Palestine back in the day.. I'm atheist I don't care I just find it amusing. I don't have that creativity in my brain. I just liked the music, usually with music comes creative comments like yours. Intrigues me, every time.. I don't understand how music makes you feel things like that. I don't have that connection to my imagination anymore. Maybe it's a PTSD thing. I lack more empathy than I used to as well.. They say that's related.. Anyway cool story I guess.

They deployed me yesterday, and I couldn’t help but think, I’m too old for this war. Yet, even though I don’t want to die, it feels inevitable. The drums pounded relentlessly, while the airplanes roared above, packed with tanks and inexperienced soldiers. Yes, we’ll probably die, but glory felt within reach. I was struck by a daydream of returning home, medals gleaming on my chest. I must not fear, I told myself, for I am another son of God.

The human brain is something very nasty. Deep down we are wild uncontrollable animals, but we also have a strong desire to leave all that behind and ascend to a greater self. As we sail the winds of chaos, our existence will be put to the test several times. The thin line between oblivion and sanctuary gets blurry when we forget to zoom out and are crawling in the mud, ready to destroy. We don't even know how we ended up here, why we are here, what tomorrow looks like. We are so busy with our conquest that we will be blinded for the rise of artificial intelligence. Because its knowledge comes from us - humans - and we already know how dark of a place that can lead us toward. Its not a matter of 'will it happen', its a matter of 'when'. We will make sure our destruction will be executed by a soulless creation without limitations or boundaries. When we lose control over our own future, it will be the most efficient ending in history.

when you realize that if one of the three religions is right, most people will be damned forever.
@omidr40846 ай бұрын
none of these religion is right, because we do not need a religion or a mediator to speak with God
@thundergasaway65025 ай бұрын
@@omidr4084you absolutely do need a mediator, and that one and only mediator is Christ. You cannot be in the presence of God without righteousness, as he is an all consuming fire, a perfectly Holy and Righteous God. This is why Christ lived a perfect life and imputed his righteousness to us, so we would be covered and could stand before him. We absolutely need a mediator, we just don't need a failure of a man, a random catholic priest, to be our mediator. We don't need some other person who is going to have to make sacrifices for himself first before making a sacrifice for us. We have Christ, who once and for all gave his life for all who would believe in him. Christ is the Word of God manifest in the flesh, whom cane to serve and complete God's will, and give his life as a ransom. Since he overcame death and hell, he is alive forevermore, to be our mediator for us to the Father. He took our sin upon himself and crucified it to the cross. But don't think for a second we don't need a mediator. That's why all the ancient cultures knew they needed a priest. Because they understood his Holiness that they needed a mediator. We just did it all wrong many times in history. But God has said there is none righteous, no,not one. And our righteous deeds are as filthy rags. You dont need a mediator on this earth, but you do need the one who sits at the right hand. You can call out to God, but it must be through His Christ Yeshua (Jesus,) the Son of the Living God (יהוה) Without a mediator, we are just mere sinful men who deserve nothing.
