Only movie that has ever made me cry. I can’t describe it. It’s a feeling I never thought could be pulled out of me from watching a fictional movie…I find it simply amazing that it could so deeply tap into my emotions. I love Christopher Nolan.

Let’s not pretend this film is perfect. But it’s the imperfections that make it so raw. It has inspired curiosity out of a generation and has this unique ability to evoke emotion from the emotionless. The music carries this terrifying sense of the unknown set somehow when I hear it I’ve never felt so at home. It builds layer upon layer with my thoughts until I find myself exactly where I started. Speechless. In awe. A masterpiece that I will carry with me until the end of existence and beyond.

This film will always hold a special place in my heart. It was the last film I went to see with my father, and a few months afterward, I came out to him as gay. We became estranged for a couple of years, not speaking until he died suddenly. This score is a source of comfort, but also deep sorrow all together at once.
