===================================================
In 1980, a group of ice hockey players in Minnesota were looking for a way to practice during the summer.[1] Scott and Brennan Olson formed the company Rollerblade, Inc., to sell skates with four polyurethane wheels arranged in a straight line on the bottom of a padded boot.[1] In 1988, Rollerblade introduced the first aggressive inline skate, the Rollerblade Lightning TRS. Aggressive inline skating developed as an organized sport in the early 1990s.[2] In 1994 the National Inline Skate Series, better known as NISS was launched as the first aggressive skating competition series. Promoters Rick Stark and Mark Billik sold Taco Bell on sponsoring the series for $150,000 and a six stop series was born. NISS, went strong for 5 years holding contests in Los Angeles, New York, Rome and Brazil. NISS was the first series to put aggressive inline on television with an ESPN deal for the 1994 series and later moving the competition series to PRIME TICKET-Fox Sports. The Aggressive Skaters Association (ASA) was formed by a number of aggressive inline skaters in 1995 as a forum to develop rules governing competitions and equipment.[2] The sport was included in the first ESPN X-Games in 1995 and included vertical ramp and street event competitions.[3] It reached its height in popularity in the late 90s, with mainstream movies like Disney's Brink! and other films. The brand "Senate", run by Arlo Eisenberg and several other prominent skaters, enjoyed mainstream popularity during the 1990s.
Founded by company owners/skating legends Brian Shima, Jon Julio, and Kato Mateu and supported by all major skate companies, the World Rolling Series (WRS) links together the best skaters, event organizers, retailers and skate parks and aims to "create a tighter knit community, increase overall awareness and set a higher standard for aggressive rollerblading." The WRS circuit started in 2009 with 10 established professional contests in France, Netherlands, England, Spain, Argentina, Australia and the United States. In 2012, WRS included 100+ amateurs and professional events in over 20 countries.

They get points for me just for including internal shell lengths. I’m sick of being told “US 8” like as if that means anything to anyone.

The cuff adjustment looks good ; some other brands should follow the example . And very nice presentation for the ekko skates.

Also the soul plate not being that wide , makes me think those skates are not for begginers .

PU = Polyurethane (often just called urethane). All skate wheels are made of PU. Some anti-rockers are also made of PU, but of harder compound (100A). Most plastic boot shells are made of tPU; thermoplastic polyrethane. This is a type of urethane that softens when heated.

Pretty much every soul plate has a degree of "juice" if you will. You just can't notice it until the frames are on with it and you can see it's not a 90 degree angle it's a tad acute which is the juice.

PU = Polyurethane, its the same thing all of the wheels are made of other than plastic anti rockers. the back piece on the liner is so it doesnt slip out of the shell and those piece will create more of a pressure point if you add it to a pressure point area......

Why do skate companies keep cheaping out on the buckle? A good buckle makes such a difference!

I think these look pretty good. I'd defo give them ago, the grey colour way looks nice too. As a complete setup Id skate almost everything, but remove that liner for a real myfit.

Who is behind echo? For being a new launch, it’s crazy that they have everything including their bearings branded

It’s a British brand behind them, a company that makes beginner skates and that is practically ignored by the UK aggressive scene, but got a lot of people into blading. They are called Stateside skates and they have multiple brands within that company name. Anarchy skates and SFR skates being the inline divisions, now also echo. I think these look great but am uncomfortable with how similar they are to Julio’s work with Them skates.

They have good design features but the overall looks are just weird. I dont know what it is, I just dont like it. I dont like Themskates either. The whole shape and basic plastic boot design is just ugly. Its like a Roces M12 or something.
