At 4:10 - Safety Note: it is not a handle to hold onto, it is a kickback bar that will stop against your leg to prevent the shaft and blade from coming back towards you. Instructions say it is not a handle.

Thank you for the video and step by step. Do you have to change the shield back to use string trimer? And on that same note, does the shield absolutely have to be changed. I know it is metal and probably a liability/safety measure by Echo, but will blade work with the original shield? Thanks again!

I have been wanting to buy one of those for my echo. I like the kit you bought. I mainly just see the blade but the kit comes with that sling and all. Always wondered how well they work.

Works great I'm really happy with it. Cuts one inch saplings like nothing. I got the kit off Amazon around $70

That blade is ok, but it sucks to sharpen I bought a more aggressive blade that's easier to sharpen and it's way better.
@rdkitchengarden43597 жыл бұрын
nicely done!!! just be careful when using it as it doesn't look that forgiving. Have a wonderful day

I'd like it as a permanent replacement for string if it cuts through simple weeds and grass too.
@portugeeprepper68217 жыл бұрын
It's cuts grass fine but you'd have to be carful near objects and your foundation

this is probably too late but check the guide because depending on the length of the thing sticking out with the gears on it you have to put different attachments on it
