Echo and the Bunnymen are in my humble opinion one of the all time greats never ever sold out

Oh so you've never heard Killing Moon, Crystal Days or Bedbugs & Ballyhoo etc. then.
@trevorloughlin14923 ай бұрын
Well the first bit is right, in fact an understatement. The greatest band in history. Both statements only apply to The Chameleons UK however.

@@trevorloughlin1492Greatest band in history is The Velvet Underground obviously. Greatest single musical artist is Bob Dylan. Echo agrees.

Perhaps not as influential as The Beatles but to me one of the best bands ever and still capable of creating fabulous music. I bought Crocodiles 'on spec' never having heard a track before, it just looked like it would be good...

@Benard Fequer - yes, these were the titles John Peel gave to the songs when he broadcast this session. I listened to it at the time and still have a cassette recording of it. I saw the Bunnymen quite a few times in 1980 and 1981. They were great then!

No doubt its U2 was influenced by Echo & the B. Ocean Rain came out May 1984 and U2 realized they had to redo everything. Lo and behold out comes Unforgettable Fire in October of the same year. Both great albums but Unforgettable Fire was Ocean Rain rip off right down to the orchestration.
