Echoes of the Tongass showcases the historic struggle to save Alaska's wilderness. Set in the mid-twentieth century, the film follows a group of Sitka locals as they strive to start the first conservation organization in Southeast Alaska. Faced with criticism from the public, and threats from industry, this dedicated group of wilderness leaders must overcome severe adversity as they realize their mission.
