Just a quick note about the towers. The towers you control that can give you legendary crest, MUST BE LEGENDARY TOWERS or they will NOT GIVE you a chance for legendary crests!

Good video, couple notes: It's not "any simple wb activity" the ticket earned is specifically a raid with 4+ wb members, same way u earn pts for tableau. U can't just do a purge or a dungeon or castle defense with your wb and expect to receive a ticket for the crest vendor. 5% chance of dropping a 1-star legendary gem from running rare crests means on avg every 20 crests ran (every other 10crest for example) will drop a gem, which is 1 gem power, not 5. Don't think it was explicitly stated but to max out your embers every week (in order to craft 5 eternal legendary crests a month-320x5=1600 which is the 400 embers u can earn per week x 4 weeks) u need to run 35 elder rifts for the regular embers (8 x 35=280) + 120 bonus embers which u get by running crests (1 bonus ember per crest). However, you don't need to personally put in 120crests a week to get these, other party members adding crests to the rift count. So the best most efficient way to do this is to recruit 3 people to all put in 10 crests with u and run 3 times: 4 playersx10crests=40x3 runs=120. I like to do this on Monday morning and get it out of the way and that's when a lot of other people do theirs so it should be easy to get groups. It's even better if it is your featured BP activity of the day, or the limited time bonus codex activity which resets every 3 days because you will earn additional BP progression for doing something you need to do anyway. If you visit the elder rift every day and purchase boon of plenty you get 2 rare crests a day, add that to the crests you get from battle pass rewards and hopefully u can limit your hilts spending to have 30+ rare crests rdy to go for Monday. By the time I buy charms, keys, gems, purification shards, and the telluric pearl I'm often low on hilts and 300 a pop is expensive so i rly only buy them when I have a surplus of hilts or am very low on rare crests. The pearl costs 800 hilts and 40 of them create a 2/5 5* gem, so 32000 hilts for 32 gem power or 1000hilts/GP. The rare crest costs 300 hilts and u need 5 to create a gem power (1500). If you have to decide between buying rare crests or a pearl, buy the pearl, it is a better value bc rare crests cost 50% more to create the same thing, except on top of that the pearl can be used for any elusive 5* gem u want, which can't be crafted and can be used as a dupe for upgrade as well as raw gem power value. I still buy the crests from the merchant near the rift although recently I've considered conserving my precious platinum. On the one hand yes there's always the chance u drop the exact gem u need and that is very exciting. However, with most servers' markets tanking, spending 1600 platinum on a crest that in all likelihood will result in a 1* drop (over 75% chance) is counter productive. If gem power is what I'm lacking for upgrades and not dupes, it may be smarter to simply buy the cheapest 1 stars on the market at 6-700 plat a piece. Not to mention as they continue to release more and more gems, the probability of you getting the gem u actually want is lower than ever. Hope these thoughts and notes were helpful, cheers!

It's a hard old grind to do all of these! faded embers x5 purchase from vendor x8 shadow wars/kion x4 towers x4? events x4? BP x1 hilts trader x1 immortal tab hilt trader x1? if you are immortal at the right stage. notes: if you spend 3200 plat a week you have to generate it somehow as you only get 2100 a week from regular play. selling charms/gems etc can generate the rest but its not guaranteed. Also need a decent warband to unlock the eternal legendary crest from the vendor. Towers x4 is hit and miss as is a random drop from a chest events - not all events have a regular cadence or drop legendary crests faded embers, you have to grind this very hard to get 400 per week plus do regular rifts with others.

For the accursed towers, I believe you cannot get more than one crest per tower. Some weeks you get none. More important tip : it's much better to craft 2* with your embers than gambling on crest. (Sell those 2 stars and buy whatever you want) That one is hard because we usually prefer dopamine to serotonin.

The accursed tower is not going to give you a legendary crest regularly. My clan owns two towers regularly and have never gotten a legendary only elder crests so to even include seems incorrect. The rest yes, I have my own warband that lucky has 8 active so I get those 4, also only 280 of the embers per week can be done alone the rest require you to run in group to receive.

Only the legendary towers can give legendary crest. And they do, quite regularly. You'll never get lego crests from the normal towers.

Just out of curiosity whytry how powerful would you rate your clan. The premise of the video is to show free crests and not saying a f2p can't be in powerful clans because they definitely can it just seems off to consider this a definite with two many variables.

You should change the title to this video. I love your videos but this is def click bait by accident because the two “legendary towers” you control give you a chance for a crest, a chance. It’s not 100% guarantee to actually get the crest, also it can just reward you with a rare crest instead.

The problem I see with doing all this work is in the end it’s still down to the game’s mechanics to hand out a 5 star gem. Talking to an old developer that left she says if you spend no money your automatically given the least by law and that is fact. Your way works by doing it over and over and you do spend cash so that is factored into your chance of pay to win. I’m trying to go through the game totally free to play as it’s my hobby and it’s an absolute mission to get anything at all to drop like the monthly sub players

Honestly I feel like my odds of getting a 5* are even better on alts where I spend nothing. Or even just from bound crests, the gems you can't sell. I seem to get more. The game pushes 5* gems on you to encourage you to buy and try the gambling route.

Paragon level has zero relation to your gems dropped. Could play every day without ever using a single crest in rifts. Odds of a 5* are still 4.5%, or 1 in every 22 legendary crests used. Not 1 in every 100 lvls or so.

Literally all it takes is 1 warband raid per week to get the voucher ticket to buy that eternal crest from the merchant. I've never missed raids with warband since launch day, and that's twice a week. If you can't find a warband, you're just not looking. Or you're just too casual for any warband to want to keep you. Requires 4+ wb members online at a time to do wb raids. If you're not dependable or consistently miss raid time, that's on you. It's not that that there aren't good warbands out there.

U can get 400 embers per week, read my comment above. 280 from running 35 rifts per week receiving 8 embers each, and an additional 120 embers from running crests at a rate of 1 bonus ember per crest (party members adding crests count towards this).

Odds of a 5* are 4.5% or 1/22. With 25+ free crests every month, probability says you'll average one 5* every month. Obviously that doesn't always happen, but on average, 1 per month.

Other times you could find four 5 star gems in the same 10 crest run like I have. That's literally the fundamental definition of probability. It won't always happen, but on average over a long enough period of time, you'll see that 4.5%.

Get 8 embers per rift, plus 1 bonus for every crest used between all party members whether it's a rare or legendary crest. Either gives 1 bonus to all. Personally I run 5 rifts every day, comes out to 35 per week, which maxes out your 280 embers weekly cap. Along the way, I've always maxed the 120 bonus embers from crests each week too. It's that simple. 5 rifts per day = 5 legendary crests per month.

Only the legendary Accursed towers can give a lego crest, and they do quite regularly. Our clan owns 1 legendary tower and 1 normal tower. I've gotten 1 lego crest from those chests every single week. And your clan could even own 2 legendary towers doubling those odds. Note he's only counting towers as 4/month not the potential 8 you could get with 2 legendary towers.

@Asswife the 2 crests from merchant are 1600 platinum each, or 3200 total. You're given 2100 platinum every week from the 3 activity chests (300/day), and can very easily sell a couple charms or normal gems from hidden lairs to make up the rest. If you struggle with that, you're just not even playing the game at all. The fact is, you can very easily get 3200 platinum every week just from playing the game. This is completely free. To say a BSJ on market is free too because it just costs platinum, sure. It could be over a long enough period of time. Certainly not consistently every week like you can these 2 crests though. His whole point in the video is that its very viable to get enough platinum to buy these 2 crests every week. Thus it's free because of its relativity to the weekly time limit attached to it.

FREE TO PLAY shouldn't gambling with legendary crest instead use your platinum to buy real gem. 3200 and the chances getting 1 starr is 99%. Use this on the market then you get solid 2 star gem. Wasting Fading Ember for Legendary Crest then you you get 25 1 star gem. While the total value of ember is x4 for crafting 2 star gem.
