No-one missing. All the Holiday Parks were evacuated well in advance of the floods.

Nothing will be done to alleviate this problem Echuca has with the river. The engineers and town planners come and go.....nobody does anything new or different. So long as everyone remains within the boxes of non-thinking, nothing new will be done!!

With the expansion of both Echuca and Moama its come to a point where this needs to be dealt with and can no longer be put on the backburner. The emergency levy constructed left many homes to flood in Echuca, and as the water needed somewhere to go, has increased the flood impact on Moama. With proper planning and preparation alot of the devastation could have been avoided, or at the least heavily negated. The hope is the soil being used for the emergency levy can be reused to extend and reinforce existing flood mitigation levys - time will tell. 🤞
