I drove a more recent version than your review car with loads of tech …rear parking camera and 360 camera…proximity mirrors….and really liked it but why oh why didn’t you mention its power in this review. I’m sorry but you sound more like a car salesman than car reviewer and anyone would think this was a great vehicle but you have omitted a very important point and that it has no power when accelerating. Acceleration was really poor if not bad and if you want to get past other vehicles quickly…forget it.

we bought a mg zs couple of months ago. there are 2 major issues with it. 1. the standard car is massively under powered which makes it dangerous. 2. the gear box has only 4 gears lesser issues are no light around the ignition, and the hill start "launch" is a joke

This is by far the worst car I have driven. It is grossly underpowered when touring through hilly areas and over taking-don’t bother, learn to be patient, in addition the transmission is horrible. Yes I understand it’s a very cheap car, and it’s all a matter of opinion. Do yourself a huge favour and spend the same amount of money on a secondhand Japanese vehicle (Toyota, Mazda etc)
