Arsenal fan making more sense than some of our fans. Still it’s only 16 months in for Ange and there are lapses in execution that undermine generally solid performances. But the turnaround at the club is unmistakable. Arsenal are a different type of team at a different point in their development. Really a top team but suffering from injuries and suspensions this season. Deadly on the corners. Full credit to Gabriel on the goal that beat us.

Tottenham are on the way up! They brought in a project manager who had a big task of changing the style of play from Mourinho/Conte defend and counter to progressive football, and the majority of Spurs signings are for the future (Bergvall, Gray, Odobert, Vuskovic, Yang, etc) yet they're already getting good results. They will only continue to improve as these players and others like Mikey Moore bed into the team. To top it off, players like Solanke, Maddison, Kulusevski, Son and Johnson are all in top form. When opponents try to play through Spurs they tend to get battered (United 3-0, Brentford 3-1, West Ham 4-1). There will be sides like Brighton that succeed in beating Spurs at their own game but they are few and far between. The next challenge for Spurs will be seeing if they can consistently breakdown a packed defense. Arsenal, New Castle, and even Leicester this season have all parked the bus against Spurs and reaped the rewards. Once they are able to do what all truly elite teams can do (consistently punish sides that sit back and defend) then their only struggle will be with the Brightons, Liverpools and Citys of the PL who will actually come out to play. Good stuff from Ange.

Excellent analysis again,Alice.i think we're about 2 years away from really making a difference. We just need the fans to be patient and 'trust the process'. We can only buy young talent rather than just spend billions on a 'ready made' top 4 team. We are definitely better to watch these days.

Forget I'm a Spurs fan, I always enjoy your videos of Tottenham and watching your videos about other clubs, I'm sure I am not the only one who learns more from your videos then anywhere else. How you show & explain, a simple example; how player X positioning themselves out wide or closer inside to deliver the ball to player Y & Z leads to more scoring chances created is always great, then you show the statistics to further show how a tactic works/doesn't work! Keep doing what your doing and you'll become the 1st video fans of every team want to see!! Sky is the limit for how popular & Successful you & your video breakdowns will become!! Cool!

Wilson Oderbert will prob be above Moore in the league rotation- especially first half of the season - but both joe above Werner - and were also getting young Korean winger in jan so he’ll he ahead of Werner - and then next season getting young Croatian defender who’ll play a lot in cup comps and odd minutes in league as he turns 18 next year so can finally join up with us - building a really good young squad

Interesting isn't it, Alice, that a lot of 'chatters' over the summer were saying that Kulu needed selling because 'Tottenham can't get to the next level with him in the team'? Good quote in yesterday's programme from Bill Nicholson: 'Tell you what: the hardest thing about the job was being told how to do it by people who could not trap a bag of cement!' Plus ca change....Nicholson went on: 'I bit my tongue, said nowt and got on with managing to the best of my ability'. There's a real danger that the Mikey Moore story is going to turn into a media circus. Yes, the lad has an explosive talent, but it's equally the case that there are clear aspects of his game that he's not yet brilliant at. His pressing isn't nearly up to Solanke's level yet for a start. So Postecoglou is very wise to see managing his progress as something to be very careful about. And I hope that the fans think about the best way for him to progress optimally over a decade and not at the expense of the team either. It's great having some buzz and excitement, but overly rose-tinted spectacles about a 17 year old may not be the best way to win trophies.. Comparing him to Cole Palmer, Jude Bellingham and Yamal at Barcelona is senseless: they've all done it at international level already, Bellingham's won the Champions League, Palmer became Chelsea's star player last season, Yamal is a one in a million freak of nature. Moore may reach those levels, but to imply if he doesn't, he's letting the side down is stupidity personified. Let him develop over the next five years and make sensible judgements when he's 22 years old, in my humble opinion. His next set of key milestones should include 15 starts in the EPL; 10 1st team goal involvements; a first call up to the senior England squad. There will doubtless be specific training improvements that professionals will be able to identify that will aid the progress towards such short-to-medium-term (1-3 years) targets.
