We all need to continue practicing, regardless of where we are. One foot in front of the other. And listening closely. It's the simple things that keep us present. When we do become unconscious, and blame another, or the even the weather, it is an opportunity to witness the ego...."Ah, there it is, it took control of me, but that is not me" Its wonderful when we have moments when we realise that we are not our thoughts, its almost as if we are a part of nature?

The pain body. This explanation just flipped the light on for me. I’ve been feeding mine unknowingly and boy have I manifested some garbage. I ended a great relationship in this way and I regret it. I’ve had major back issues with sciatica which has caused sleep deprivation and a need for pain medication. Through all of this my emotional pain body is an overreacter and hypersensitive. I blew it with a man I love. I’m taking steps to correct myself by reaching for better feeling thoughts. It takes practice (lots) to pull myself out of the negative thoughts cycle. I hope one day my love will come back to me. I’m coming back to me, that’s the most important thing. Thank you for the wisdom.

But isn't leaving an option? Your kids will see the horrible relation and grow up in it. Maybe better that they see you peaceful and happy by yourself? And maybe later on in a new and better relation? I separated and later on met my husband. He is much more like a father to my son, than my son's biological father ever has been. My son is more like my husband, than he is like me; with interests, taste of music, playing the guitarr and workning with programming. It's nothing we forced. My son was very interested in computers from an early age and asked a friend of mine and my husband everything about programming and computers. He also asked about how to play the guitarr and learned. They just had things in common. It's your life to live the best way you can. I hope you feel in your heart if your patner is right for you, and the relation can be healthy and worth fighting for. Best of luck!

I'm old now and I've never ever had love. never ever have I been in a real romantic relationship... the pain of this is so horrific: it truly rapes my soul.
Have you made yourself available to your self? If you never felt love because you felt that love was unavailable in other persons you could try to first finding it in yourself. The love you so desperately search for in other beings is also present in you.
Is the root of all suffering the inability to stay focused on the present moment? What I mean by suffering includes depression, anxiety, grief, loneliness, bipolar disorder, panic attacks, social isolation, shame, guilt, regret, low self-esteem, stress, anger, jealousy, heartbreak, emotional trauma, etc.
