I recall a time when I was sitting on a cliff looking out to sea. After awhile, I became aware that all there was - all that was observable, was the fact awareness had sight - there was NO awareness of anything else other than sight, no sound, no physical body, no heat or cool, literally like all that was experienced was sight and seeing the sea and its movement. I wish to add that anyone sharing a bathroom with 8 other people as Eckhart described, can set up a camping toilet and also have running water by using small, USB water pumps. I put one into a gallon of spring water and … I am in the now. Eckhart, so sorry that you had to wait so long to use the bathroom but I suppose it helped with letting go of your body’s demands and being more present. Your explanations make sense to me at this point in my earthly journey.

Every story of awakening is unique for each individual. Sounds like your first step towards awakening, was related to feeling gratitude for life itself. Thank you for sharing your experience with the world. I found my own experience very calming but also confusing and scary. I only came across Carl Jung red book much later after my own awakening. I think it’s important that we also talk about the scary side of it, so people don’t fall and stay stuck into a deep psychosis of recurring terror. In that state, they will be diagnosed with schizophrenia. We need more psychologist to have an awakening so they can share their awareness with the world of their experience. I feel like it’s the only way people will understand the whole awakening process, in a more serious manner. People often look at a résumé status before taking any information seriously. And that’s ok too, because we need to get the proper guidance threw the process of awakening. It’s nice to have Eckhart explain the process and highlight the importance of the whole experience. We are lucky to have someone speaking publicly about it so it can help many others who have experienced the same phenomenon. Thank you for your active presence Eckhart.

At some point in mans life he has to realize the brain is not the tool to figure these things out.
