Master your mind or it will master you. You are not your thoughts. The goal of meditation is not to control your thoughts, it’s to not let your thoughts control you. The natural state of being human is peaceful and joyous. We suffer more in imagination than in reality. Stay Based.

Darren White By Based, I mean living your authentic self no matter the opinions of others. Grounded, if you will. The word has some different meanings but this is the meaning I intend for my YT channel. You can see this definition on Urban dictionary, too. I think a rapper called Lil B gave it this definition from the beginning. IMO it’s a great word and philosophy.

I love the universe. I was trying to figure out some shadow work and my friend told me I complain a lot. Obviously at first I was taken back. What do you mean I complain. I vent. Stuff happens I don’t like and I talk about it. I was convinced I didn’t complain THAT much. And then I started noticing that I complain about everything. If it’s genuine or “fake complaining” I even complain so much I fake do it too. It’s been so long since I’ve watched a spiritual video like this and I’ve never watched one of his videos before. I click on it and BAM complaining video ♥️♥️♥️ This complaining has stopped me from having some wonderful moments in life and I am now excited to work on this aspect of my life.♥️♥️♥️

Our son had autism (he is almost recovered now). The amazing thing was that almost all major leaps he made were during - and due to travel. We cannot explain why - maybe as Eckhart says in the beginning when traveling you are more present. One of his major challenges was to be present. He was absolutely capable to learn and do anything, just that most of the time he was not present, but stuck in his head in some repetitive thoughts and behavioral patterns. At one point we noticed by pure chance that when we traveled he was more open to try new things and more connected with us. Many things that we tried in therapy with lots of effort were solved with traveling. So we made it a habit to travel as much as possible. Of course, the progress was not only due to travel, but travel was a significant element for us.

It’s true on a metaphysical level as you explained as well as a psychological level. That which we judge in another was *FIRST* an aspect of ourselves that we have disowned and never forgiven. So we hate a piece of ourselves and when we see it in another we judge ourself. Hence why nothing is EVER personal it’s always some form of a lack of love.

Thank you big time for NOT using corny, manipulative background music on this video. These words are all music in and on themselves.

His books changed my mind… changed my life. I do not enjoy listening though. If I listen, I seem to resonate with Deepak Chopra or meditation frequency music/tones. I’m glad so many people benefit from Tolle in whatever form works.

I feel the same way. Must keep in pushing and make changes. I see my mistakes. And now I'm going to be more mindful about my emotions, temperament, tongue, and others.
